You still remember that awful day....
*Flashback*
"Alright sweetie... Mommy will be back soon." Your mother said. "Promise?" You ask. "Promise." Your mother said. "Be careful mommy!" You say. Tears roll down her face. "What's wrong mommy?" You ask. "My little four year old is growing up." She smiles. "Oh y/n. Always remember, stay kind, be be tough. Stand up for yourself and for your friends. And for what you believe in..." She says. "Do what is right, and don't be afraid." You finish. "Yes." Your mother says, hugging you. "I love you mommy." You say. "I love you to y/n." She says. With that, she left. And you never saw her again.
*End of flashback*
Your father had blamed you for your mother leaving and he started drinking. And abusing you. You lied at school saying you had fallen, or tripped to explain the cuts and bruises. You never even told you best friends. Eventually, college came. A year before you finished, you moved in with Alex, your boyfriend. After college, the true him started coming out. He would hit you, kick you, throw beer bottles at you, barely missing you head. He would cut you with a knife. It was awful, but you were afraid to leave. That is, until one fateful day.
A/N: what do you think so far?
