Your pov
It's been a week since Simon woke up. You were sitting on the couch, checking Twitter. It was about 6:30. Suddenly Mark was looking over your shoulder at your phone. "Hey!" You protest, turning your phone off. "Hi Y/N!" Mark said cheerfully. "Let's go somewhere!" He said. You turned to him. He was wearing jeans and his lucky flannel. "Like where?" You ask. "It's a secret." Mark whispers. You roll your eyes. "Alright." You say. You were wearing a Markiplier t-shirt and leggings, so you were pretty much all set. "Let's go!" Mark said in an over-excited voice.
The two of you got in a car and Mark drove for twenty minutes before he finally stopped. "We're here!" He said. "Where is, 'here'?" You ask. "Somewhere." Mark replied. "No duh." You said. He chuckled. "Close your eyes when you get out." Mark instructed. "Fine." You say. You got out and closed your eyes. You felt Mark grab your hand and you jumped. "Sorry." He says. He guides you for a good five minutes before he said, "Ta-da! You can open your eyes now!" He said. You opened your eyes and found yourself on a grassy hill with a checkered picnic blanket laid out. There were a few candles and an assortment of finger-foods laid out. "Wow." You say. "I know I haven't really even officially asked you, and that's completely my fault, well, that.... And what's been going on lately... But... Uh..." Mark started. He looked nervous. "Y-Y/N... Will you... Be my girlfriend?" He asks, finally meeting your eyes. You smiled at him, so overjoyed you though you might explode. "Yes! Of course!" You say. You hugged him and he hugged you back. "This is amazing, really. You didn't have to do all this." You insist, motioning to the picnic blanket. "Of course I had too. I wanted to make it as beautiful as you are." Mark said. You felt yourself blush. "And, it's gets even better." Mark said. He took your hand and made you turn around. As you did, you saw L.A. down below. The buildings were light up like the night sky in the country. Even as you thought this, you looked up and saw the stars above you head. It was a rare sight due to L.A.'s light pollution. "It's beautiful." You breath. "It's still not as beautiful as you are." Mark said. You smiled at him. You were about to say something when your stomach growled loudly, and you realized how hungry you were. Mark laughed. "Come on, let's eat." He smiled warmly at you.
~Time skip~
You and Mark talked for almost two hours. There had been something you'd been thinking about for awhile. "Hey Mark?" You say. "Yeah?" He replies, looking at you. "Do you think..." You sighed. You looked away and didn't meet Mark's eyes as you spoke. "Do you think that our lives will ever truly be normal? You know... With my dad, Alex...." You say. Mark pulled you a bit closer to him and hugged you. "Don't worry. Everything will be ok. I won't doubt that we'll forget about all of this, but it'll get better." Mark said with an encouraging smile. "Thanks." You say. "No problem." He says kindly. He leans down toward you and softly presses his lips against yours. The kiss is slow, but passionate. It was amazing. Mark pulled away and smiled at you. You hugged him tightly. "You're the best, Markimoo." You say. "No I'm not." He replied. "Yes you are." You say. You eventually feel asleep on Mark's shoulder. It was the best day ever.Hey guys! Sorry for not updating in FOREVER! This book is coming to a close, but there WILL be a sequel. Anyway I hope you enjoyed and I'll see you in the next chapter, Bai!
