Chapter 10: You fight for Him

Your POV.

You started crying your eyes out as Alex stepped closer to Mark and started kicking him, over, and over, and over. It was awful. You couldn't stand it. You saw a pocket knife in Mark's door. You grabbed it, unable to stop and think. 'Mark, your best friend, is dying. And it's your. Fucking. FAILT!' You screamed in your head. You got out of the car, tears streaming down your face. "ALEX!" You scream. "FIGHT ME YOU GOD DAMN SON OF A BITCH!" You scream. "Y/N?" He cries. You charged towards him, knife in hand. Alex puts the gun in his pocket and raises his fists. As you reach him you kick him in the stomach. You go to stab him but he grabs the knife. He punches you in the face, as hard as he can. He bends down to Mark, knife in hand. "Take one step and he dies." Alex growls. "Please..." You beg. You inch closer. "Idiot." Alex says. He brings the knife down into Mark's stomach a few times. "No!" You scream, barreling into him. But Alex is stronger than you, and when he hears sirens in the distance, he jumps up and takes off running. You don't follow, instead you bend down to Mark. He's bleeding heavily from the gun shot and stab wounds. He coughs, barely able to keep his eyes open. "Mark..." You whisper. "Y/n..." He coughs. "Mark, please, don't try to talk." You beg. "Y/n, I'm so sorry." He says. "Don't be... It was my fault for dragging you into this." You insist. "No. I'm sorry I couldn't say this sooner but... I... Love you... That's why I will always protect you... No matter what the cost..." He said. He coughed up blood and passed out as the ambulance arrived. "Mark! No!" You scream. "Please..." Tears stream down your face. "I love you too....." You say softly. "Stay with me....." You whisper.
