Your POV
You cried until you couldn't cry anymore. You got on your phone and went to the last video you had posted. Instantly, there were awful comments.
'WTF IS WRONG WITH YOU!?!'
'THIS IS YOUR FAULT!'
'KILL YOURSELF!'
And more. Then there were some amazing ones.
'Hey, it's alright! It wasn't your fault.'
'He will be ok. I promise! He is strong. He will get through this.'
'It isn't your fault, it was 'Asshole Alex's fault.
'No one deserved to be hurt.'
'Hang in there Mark... You too Y/n!'
'My first thought when I see this; I find damaged people beautiful, I find scarred people intriguing, I find broken people inspiring. After all, they've been through hell, and they're still here to tell us about it.'
You smiled a bit at that. You looked at Mark and thought, "it really is true..." Then, you thought about how you may never talk to him again, never see that beautiful smile again, never hear his amazing laugh. "Please Mark... You've already fought so hard, keep fighting. You're strong, you'll get through this... You have to..." You said softly. You eventually drift off to sleep, dreaming of you and Mark as kids, playing on the playground, at home, laughing as you did your homework, Mark standing up to a kid who bullied you, and more. Then, they were all struck down. Changed to pain, blood, suffering... Because of Alex, and because of your dad. This is mostly how nights always went. Usually Mark came in, woke you up, and helped you. You were again reminded of how Mark may not wake up. You woke up at 4:30 in the morning and began to sing. When she was just a girl,
She expected the world
But it flew away from her reach so
She ran away in her sleep
And dreamed of
Para-para-paradise, Para-para-paradise, Para-para-paradise
Every time she closed her eyesWhen she was just a girl
She expected the world
But it flew away from her reach
And the bullets catch in her teeth
Life goes on, it gets so heavy
The wheel breaks the butterfly
Every tear a waterfall
In the night the stormy night she'll close her eyes
In the night the stormy night away she'd flyAnd dreams of
Para-para-paradise
Para-para-paradise
Para-para-paradise
Oh oh oh oh oh oh-oh-oh
She'd dream of
Para-para-paradise
Para-para-paradise
Para-para-paradise
Oh oh oh oh oh oh-oh-oh-ohLalalalalalalalalalala
And so lying underneath those stormy skies
She'd say, "oh, ohohohoh I know the sun must set to rise"This could be
Para-para-paradise
Para-para-paradise
Para-para-paradise
Oh oh oh oh oh oh-oh-ohThis could be
Para-para-paradise
Para-para-paradise
Para-para-paradise
Oh oh oh oh oh oh-oh-ohThis could be
Para-para-paradise
Para-para-paradise
Para-para-paradise
Oh oh oh oh oh oh-oh-ohAfter that, you drifted off to sleep once again.
