Best friends is Y/N with Calum Hood. Calum's passion is Football. It's his life.
Y/N and Calum are never not with eachother. Till one day. Calum gets a letter that he's qualified to go for an audition in England. For 3 months. When Y/N heard Calum was going away for 3 months she didn't know what to think. She was happy, hell she was. But the thought of not being with Calum for 3 months was hurting her chest and giving her a panic feeling. She didn't have really other friends. She thought she wouldn't need other friends with Calum. Ofcourse she's friends with Calum friends. But not as big as she is with Calum. They had two weeks together before Calum needed to leave to England. Two weeks. What seemed like two days. But instead of crying in her room Y/N made the best of it. Okay yeah ditching school was not the best thing. But now she had more time with Calum. For how long you could say. But then the day came. Calum had to leave. The night before Y/N slept at Calum's place to be as close as possible how long the time was gonna be. She helped him pack his stuff. She didn't want him to forget something important. Something like a picture of them together. She was selfish. She didn't only wanted that Calum didn't forget anything, she didn't want Calum to forget her. That was one of her biggest fears. A lot can happen in 3 months! She was keeping her head up and staying strong. Not showing how sad she actually was. Just to keep Calum happy about his chance and most definitley not to worry about her. She's strong. She can do. this. Althought everyone else could see how hard she was dealing with this. Even Calum's parents. Mali, Calum's sister, even talked to her about it. Sure Y/N is one of the most important person in the world for Calum, but so was Mali. They laughed together while talking about memories and even shed a tear together when they realised how fast the time was actually going. And today was that day. Y/N, Mali, Luke, Michael and Ashton were gonna say goodbye to Calum. But only Y/N and Luke were coming to the airport. Y/N because duhh. Luke because they needed a ride and is one of Calum's best mates. Mali didn't come because she thought saying goodbye on an airport was harder then saying goodbye at home. When they walked inside the airport you can feel the sadness between them. The hurt. But also the happiness. This was something Calum dreamed of since he was little. Y/N couldn't let him stay. Ofcourse she tried and she even tried that she would come with him. But none was a success. They needed to face the truth. They weren't gonna see eachother for the next three months. They went to the passport control. There was this huge line of people waiting to go to their plane. This was the moment of truth. "Y/N-" Calum began but she stopped him. "No it's okay you need to do this" "But-" "No butts. Not today" She smiled at him. A sad smile. "I think this is it mate" Luke cut the silence. "I think it is mate" Calum said while nodding. "Don't do anything stupid okay? You're a clumsy ass" Luke joked. Calum chuckled and said "I can't promise that" He grinned at Luke. They hugged. For some people too long for two guys. But who cared? "Take care of her okay? Don't let her get hurt" Calum told Luke. "Don't worry man she's in good hands here" and for one second Y/N thought she saw tears in Luke's eyes. Calum walked to her. "Hey" "Hi" "This is it huh?" "I think it is.... I don't want you to go" Y/N whispered. "I know I'm sorry" Calum said and embraced her in a tight warm hug she needed. "Don't apologize. This is your dream. You need to follow them. Just like someone told me to" Y/N whispered in his chest. She could feel the tears streaming down her face and still she was trying to stay strong. For Calum. When they pulled back Calum smiled at her and wiped her tears away. "I think you should go" Y/N told Calum. "I think too" Calum nodded. "Goodbye Calum go follow your dreams. Promise me you will make them come true" She sniffed. "This is not a goodbye. This is a see you later" he smiled at her. "Bye" she smiled. "Bye bye" he waved. Calum grabbed his luggage and walked to the line. Y/N sighed. "It's gonna be okay. Hes gonna be okay" Luke told her. "I know... it just hurts" she looked at him with tears in her eyes. "You love him. And then I don't mean like friends. You love him." Luke told her. And then it hit her. He was right. She has feelings for him. But it's too late anyway. "You're right" she told Luke while looking at him. While the line to the airplane was getting smaller and smaller. "You need to tell him" "What now? Nooo definitley not" "I know he loves you too" She looks at him weird. He says "Yeah hello guys talk" she hummed. "You should go to him" Luke told her. And he was right she needed to go to him. If it was a good idea? You'll never know until you try. "You're right" and just when she said it Calum gave his passport to the lady on the desk. "Go!" Luke told her. She run and yelled "Calum wait!" She cried out. Calum turned around and waited till she got there. When Y/N was standing of front of him now. "I love you" she told him. Calum smiled at her. "I'm sorry i just-" she got cut off by Calum kissing her passionatly. Luke saw everything and was grinning ear to ear. Y/N was now crying happy but sad. They pulled back. And looked at eachother. They were smiling. People were waiting behind them not even annoyed. "You should go" Y/N told Calum. "I'll be here when you get back" She mouthed 'I promise'. Calum smiled at her giving her one last kiss. "Bye Y/N I love you too" he said while walked further. And suddenly it didn't feel bad to let him go. It felt right. He'll come back. Luke gave her a hug when she got back to him. She will be okay.
