Maya's POV:
So this morning I expected to have to nag my parents to tell me but they actually just told me. I have to leave next week and I will be back in three months. I don't know how to tell Josh that I am going to be gone for three months with a explanation.
Right now I am heading over to Riley's to tell Josh and get it over with. I silently pray that something will happen that I don't have to tell him. I truthful really nervous.
I park my car and go in through the bay window. I go in to the living room to see Josh sitting with Auggie playing checkers. Josh gets up when he sees me. He hugged me and I hugged him back but not with the enthusiasm I always had.
I think he saw this because he looked at me worried. "Josh we have to talk " say thin I look at Auggie and say " Alone " he looked at Auggie and said "go tell your mom how many times you have won "
" Josh I am going to be leaving for three months " I looked at Josh I could not read his face it was plain. " I love you " I added
