Chapter 15

We sat for a while longer just talking about random stuff, like where they come up with the ideas for their videos, when of all people who walk the planet, George walked in. I could tell he regretted walking in when he seen me, but he continued getting his coffee and then began to walk towards our table. "Chrissy look," he started. "George just leave it, I know I was stupid to ever think you actually loved me, and what a mistake I made telling you I loved you because you're just like every guy I get with, you use me and then cheat. You know I really believed you were the one for me, but could I have been any more wrong?" I butted in. "Wait, no, I do love you Chrissy, it's just please let me explain," he tried to speak again. "Save it George, just leave. Please." I snapped, tears forming in my eyes. "No not until you listen" "George just go, I really don't want to speak to you right now" I exclaimed but George just stood staring deeply into my tear filled eyes. "Look mate, she asked you to go, why don't you back off, she'll talk when she's ready" Luke said, seeing I was uncomfortable talking to George. "Alright, but please remember I really do love you Chrissy" "I'm sure that's what you were thinking when you had your tongue down some other girls throat last night" I rose my voice and completely began to break down. I lay my head in my hands, which were on the table and cried. Heavier than I'd ever cried before. I heard George leave and then felt Luke's hand on my back. Without even thinking I turned towards him and hugged him tightly, resting my head on his shoulder. He ran his hand through my hair and rubbed my back before Jai suggested they bring me back to the hotel.

We arrived back into the boys hotel room and Beau, Skip and James still hadn't returned. "Wow wrecking my makeup by crying twice in one day, must be a record for me" I said as I washed my face again. "Yeah well you had reason too" Jai said. "By the way, thanks for getting George to leave, I'm really not in the mood to speak to him right now." "No problem, it's understandable. I still can't believe he did it though, he sounded pretty genuine when he said he loved you" Luke added. "Yeah, it's probably not the first time he's cheated on a girl and tried convincing her that he still loves her. But I know one thing, there is no way I'll ever trust him again, we're finished for good" I sighed. I didn't bother redoing my makeup, and instead went to find a hoodie to put on. I opened the bag JJ had brought me and searched through it. "Of course, leave it to JJ to pack the hoodie that George gave me" I said, but couldn't bring myself to throw it out, instead stuffed it back into my bag. "Here have one of mine" Luke smiled handing me a hoodie.

Just as I thought the day couldn't get any worse, I took out my phone and opened twitter to find my timeline full of photos of 'George's Girlfriend' as they all said. As I read the comments of how 'cute they looked together' and how 'she's perfect for George' I got angrier and angrier, resulting in me tossing my phone full force against the wall. "You ok?" Jai asked looking confused. "Grand it's just seeing all the photos of 'Georges new girlfriend' annoy me" I explained. "Don't give up, you'll find someone, even if it does mean you travel half way around the world, like Jai did" Luke said. "Yeah but that's different, that was for Ariana Grande, possibly the prettiest girl ever to walk this earth." I said. "You're just as pretty, Chrissy" Luke said with a strange tone, as if he was thinking it but didn't mean to say it. He probably just wanted to make me feel better, I'm nothing like Ariana, she's flawless.

Another few hours passed and it was now 7 o clock. Luke hadn't said much since he passed the comment about me, but I haven't stopped thinking about it. Maybe all this stuff was meant to happen with George, and I was meant to find Luke. I've only known him a few hours, and he's already one of my best friends. My thoughts were interrupted by someone jumping down onto the bed that I was lying on, with my back against the headboard and one earphone in. I looked up from the screen of my phone to Beau sitting in front of me. "How are you?" He asked as I pulled my earphone out. "Ok I guess" I shrugged. "Well I hope these two brothers of mine have looked after you, they're not the most responsible people, and since they didn't finish school, they're not the brightest crayons in the box" Beau said getting glares from the twins. I giggled slightly at his description of them. "Well they looked after me fine" I said. "That's the first time I've heard you laugh, I think" Jai commented, Luke agreed. "Well I'm not in the happiest mood at the moment" I replied. "Hungry?" Beau asked and I nodded, a bit eagerly. "See I knew they didn't look after you, let's just say if you're waiting for them to feed you, you wouldn't be long starving" he smiled and walked over to the small kitchen area of their hotel room. "Sandwich do?" He asked and I nodded putting back in my earphone and changing the song. I noticed Luke staring at me from the bed opposite and for some reason got the feeling that he wanted to listen to my music with me, weird idea I know. I held out the second earphone toward him as if offering it to him and he stood up and lay beside me placing the earphone in his ear. "No way you like Mumford And Sons too?" He asked shocked as I Will Wait came on. "Of course" I smiled. "Ohhhh look at the two lovebirds" Skip said. Luke shot him a look of disapproval while I just laughed it off quietly.
