Hello my faithful readers. For those of you who haven't noticed I have the next installment in the series posted. New pages will be published every weekend. This one is about Samantha.
Be prepared, this book is a long one.
Excerpt:
"All I can tell you is that you will be happy after it's all said and done and offer a word of caution, no one is as bad as they seem at first meeting."
"Oh I don't know, ax murderers usually are." She snorted.
"In your specific case with the people you will be meeting. No one will be as bad as you think upon first meeting." I sigh.
"So can't tell me what is gonna be so life altering about it beside the fact I'm now a member of a foreign court and nobility."
"Nope. You do realize that you are actually taking a step down in hierarchy right?"
"How so?"
"You are a Princess lowering yourself from royalty to nobility. A fact I'd suggest you learn how to point out nicely. It might come in handy."
"Can't just say, I'm a Princess bitches eat that?" She laughed.
"No."
"Darn, how about..." She snorts and waves her hand.
"Forget it, I don't want to know." She smiles at me. "You'll be fine but you know if you ever need to talk I'm just a phone call away, day or night."
"Thanks." She steps back and points at the stones littering the ground.
"Be careful where you chuck those." I laugh and dive down to keep up my cleaning. I've got it looking good when I hear a splash and look around to see Hailey.
"Hey. Gonna help me clean?"
"No." She says laughing. "Why are you down here doing this anyway?" She asks taking a stick from me a pokes some weeds.
"Because it's stress therapy."
