Destiny

I opened my eyes to see the sun shooting across my face, the dust particles dancing around me. I sighed knowing I couldn't fall back asleep, Alice would be watching.

I scrambled out of bed and ran to the bathroom. I literally jumped into the shower and bruised my arm. I started laughing at myself as my auburn hair and the rest of my body got wet.

My dad said I got my hair colour from his mother, my grandmother. Renesmee, my twin sister, got my dad's coppery hair, with Grandpa Charlie's curls. I have straight hair, like my mom, and emerald green eyes. Nessie had chocolate brown eyes. She got hers from mom, and I got mine from dad. We got our beauty from both our parents, since our dad was a vampire and mom was a beautiful human. So, we are too.

Nessie and I are half vampire and half human, hybrids. We could sleep, eat (I prefer human food and Nessie prefers blood), and we had to breath. But we grew at a different pace than humans. I'm 10, but I look like 18. We were also very strong, not as strong as vampires, but stronger than humans. We had super speed and the same burn in our throats as everyone else (vampires I mean) it's just a little less. We both had pale skin, but Ness was a little tanner. I was as white as my family.

" LILY! You've been in there forever! C'mon!" My sister screamed at me through the door.

I got Lily as a name, instead of one of my aunts or uncles names mixed up, because when my mother first saw me, I was playing with this Lily and I wouldn't put it down for a whole week. It was a really pretty flower. So, my mom thought that it was a sign or something and named me Lily. My middle names are Jalice Rose Emma. Jalice for Alice and Jasper, Rose for Rose, and Emma for Emmett.

I turned off the water and stepped out, grabbing my towel as I go. I opened the door and my sister fell into the bathroom. I laughed and walked over her, heading to my room. I changed and made my face more presentable. I brushed my hair and headed downstairs. Nessie and I slept in the mansion, so our parents could have a bit of privacy

Seth attacked me in hug, crushing me, than he asked where Nessie was and I said,"Shower." I winked and waggled my eyebrows. He got this dreamy look on his face and my dad growled at him. I giggled and sat down, eating my breakfast.

" How is my little flower?" Dad asked. Tired. I thought and he chuckled at me. He kissed my forehead as Ness came down, jumping into Seth's arms.

Seth imprinted on Nessie when she was a baby. My parents weren't happy about it. My mom even attacked him! But they have gotten used to it.

"That's how you take a short shower." Ness said. I grinned at her and finished my breakfast.

"I'm going for a walk!" I said loudly. They all laughed at me as I walked out the door.

When I was out of hearing distant I sat down on a rock and just stared at a tree.

Sometimes I felt like my family liked Nessie better. But then I would think that Nessie was just an attention hog, stealing every praise, every compliment, everything! I guess it also had to do with the fact I usually stay in my room reading, while she goes to dance. The only thing I do is piano. But so does Ness, and she is at a higher level than me. I bit my lip.

I heard a branch snap and my head turned instantly toward the noise, locking eyes with a really tall, handsome man. His facial expression was angry at first, but then it turned into surprise, then loving and adoring. My breath caught in my throat.

He was at least 6'7. With shaggy, shoulder length, black had big brown eyes. He wasn't wearing a shirt and he had a lot of abbs, I don't think I could count them. He wore cut offs and he had no shoes. He was really good looking.

"Hi...I'm Lily." I whispered giving him my hand for him to shake. He stared at my hand and then me again. "Lily." He breathed. I nodded and he took my hand but he didn't let go. He just kept staring.

I cleared my throat. "I'm sorry for intruding...I'll go." I said as I was turning around. "NO!" He said and grabbed me into a hug. I didn't really want to go and the hug felt nice, but it was so sudden I gasped really loudly.

"Are you okay?" Stranger man said, concerned. I nodded and he smiled. "What's your name?" I asked as he kept staring and smiling. "Jacob." He said. I nodded and looked down. He just kept staring at me.

That's when I noticed he looked a lot like Seth, except hotter, but that didn't matter at the moment. He looked like a shapeshifter.

"Can you turn into a wolf?" I blurted out. Then I blushed, that came out a little foreword. I was going to try to get him to tell me, but I guess this a better way.

"Yeah... Um how did you know?" He asked confused, then he smelt me. That was a little awkward. "You smell like Seth... and the Cullens.!" He started shaking like Seth did when he was about to phase. I backed away, knowing that if I stayed to close I would get severely injured. Jacob stopped shaking when he saw the fear in my eyes.

"I am a Cullen." I whispered staring at him. His breath caught in his throat. "You're one of the hybrids." He accused and I nodded.

"I have to go." I said and ran away. Seeing his broken heartened face made me run faster. When I saw the cottage I stopped running and walked inside.

Nessie and Seth were making out on our parents bed. When I saw them I squealed and they jumped apart. When I saw their appearences I laughed. They looked like they were smashed into a truck. Nessie glared at me and stomped away to another room. Drama Queen.

"Seth... do you know a Jacob?" I asked him, I wanted to know as much as I could. He nodded, his eyebrows furrowed in confusion. I bit my lip, this was to embarrassing. "Never mind." I mumbled and started toward the house.

My thoughts kept returning to Jacob, I wondered if he was thinking about me. He probably wasn't, but I could hope. I was clearly already infatuated with the boy.

"What boy?" My dad said through clenched teeth as I walked into the house. I forgot he could read my mind. "No one, dad." I mumbled. I tried blocking him, but my thoughts just kept going to Jacob.

My dad snarled when I replayed the meeting with Jacob. Dang! "Edward!" My mom scolded. "That evil, foul being! Why can't he just leave us alone!" My dad yelled. Everyone was too shocked to speak. Dad doesn't usually act like this.

"Lily, what happened?" My mom asked. I looked at everyone in surprise. I so didn't want to add anything to my dad's anger. "I met a boy." I whispered. Alice squealed and ran to hug me. "What's his name?" She asked. I bit my lip. "Jacob." I said softly.

"BLACK! Jacob Black! And guess what he did! He imprinted on her!" My dad yelled again. My mom's face went from pained to blank in a second, but I caught it.

"He imprinted on me?" I whispered. Everyone turned to look at me and my dad stopped having a spazz attack. His face softened and he went to hug me, "Sorry." He whispered in my ear.

"Lily, why don't you go upstairs and have a nap" Grandma said. I nodded and went upstairs and got into bed and closed my dreaming a certain wolf.
