When I woke up I turned on my side and heard crying from the other room. Nessie's room. I narrowed my gaze at the wall. Why was she being so upset over the fact Jacob imprinted on me? Why was she so mad at me? Why was she crying? I felt upset myself, knowing I was the cause of my sister weeping in the other room. I curled up into a ball.

My door opened and in stepped my dad. He took one look at my position and gathered me into his arms. I sighed. These moments with my father were rare now and I try to savour them when they do. He put me back in bed and laid beside me. I turned to face him.

"Why is she crying?" I whispered to him. He looked at me with sad eyes and said, "There was a certain wolf sitting by you winow." It always pained him to see his children upset.

Is it my fault? I asked silently, knowing he could read my mind. He shook his head and hugged me close.

"No, your sister is just very emotional. Don't ever think you are the reason." I nodded and buried my head into his chest. I heard a faint hushing from Renesmee's room, and I knew it was Mom trying to console her.

"What time is it?" I asked; the sun wasn't even out yet. "Too early," Dad replied. "Go back to sleep." I can't. I thought and he rolled his eyes. We lay perfectly still for awhile, both of stuck in our thoughts.

The hushing from the other room was getting louder. I could imagine my mom holding Ness close to her, rocking back and forth. That thought made me jealous. Every time I was upset it was never Mom who comforted me, it was always Dad. Not that I didn't want him to, he was my favourite person, ever. Jacob was second, my dad always first. But I always craved the mother who Nessie had. Mom was a whole different person with me. She was more distant, shy. I knew she loved me, but she didn't show it the way she did Nessie. It was exasperating and miserable.

My dad frowned at me, hearing my thoughts. "She loves you very much, Lily." He said sternly. My mouth turned upward then down. He sighed.

"I just wish she would show it, you know? I feel like her least favourite, Nessie always first. It's a horrible feeling." I muttered, and he pulled me close. "She loves you." He repeated.

"I'm glad I'm your favourite person." He said after a pause of silence. "And I'm also glad I'm ahead of the mutt." He muttered. I grinned. "No one can compare to you, Daddy." He smiled at me. "No one can compare to you either, my darling little flower." He stated back.

Mom appeared at the doorway. She frowned at me then at Dad. "Renesmee wants you, Edward." She stated calmly. He got up, smiled at me, then vanished to Ness's room. I met my Mom's gaze, there was regret in her eyes. Did she hear our conversation? I hope not. She opened her mouth to say something, but then closed it.

"You should go downstairs." She muttered, leaving the room, probably to console Nessie some more.

I dragged my feet down the stairs, only to fall on the last step. I squealed with fear as my face smashed into the floor. Emmett's booming laughter could be heard from the living room. Esme and Rosalie rushed over to help me up. Rosalie was always like a second mother to me, she cared for me and I loved her a lot.

"Owwwwwwww!" I wined, my hands were covering my face. Emmett came into the room to see what was happening and burst into laughter. I glared at him through my fingers. Rose removed my fingers from my face and frowned. "You have a bruise already." She stated, leading me to the kitchen. Esme was fretting over me the entire time.

"I'm fine." I said and grabbed the bowl of cereal Esme had fixed for me. I glanced at them in between bites and saw them trying to contain their laughter. I guess I looked really bad, for Esme to start laughing at me. I snorted in my food. I couldn't wait to look in a mirror.

The door opened and in stepped Seth. On time as usual. "Hey Lily." He greeted me, smiling. "Hey Seth, I wouldn't look for Nessie at the moment. She's not in the best mood. But don't worry, you can hang out with me!" I said cheerfully. His face became pained at the fact Ness was upset. I walked past him heading to the computer.

"What happened to your face?" He asked. Emmett started to laugh and I blushed. He could have worded that better. "I fell." I mumbled and ran to the computer. My wonderful uncle was still laughing at my expense. How nice was he? "Shut up, Emmett!" I snapped. He stopped laughing, but started to giggle like a girl. I huffed and decided to not talk to him for a very long time, at least a day.

I was about to sit down on the computer chair when I noticed something through the window, a russet brown wolf. I grinned and looked around to see if anyone else noticed. They didn't. I slowly got up and casually walked to the window. So no one thought that the guy who imprinted on me was standing right outside our house. We stared at each other, and I got lost in his eyes. I wondered what he was thinking about. Of how beautiful I was? Yeah right. Was he concerned about my now throbbing eye? My stomach tingled with the fact that he might be worried about me. Even though I knew he probably was. He did imprint on me.

Jacob nodded his head in the direction of the forest, signalling me to go there. I was about to respond by nodding, when the curtains flew closed. I blinked in realization when I couldn't see Jake anymore. Turning my head, I saw my dad looking very aggravated. I pouted at him.

"I think today is a great day to spend with family! Indoors." He exclaimed. I rolled my eyes at him. He gently touched my bruise, frowning. "Hmmmmmm, maybe Carlisle should see this." He muttered. "It's just a bruise Dad, nothing else. I'll be fine." I whispered. Why couldn't I have one moment alone with Jacob, without my family bursting in? I was starting to get annoyed.

"Don't be bitter," my dad scolded. I laughed at him, and threw myself on the couch, beside Rosalie. "Weirdo," she mumbled. I giggled and then sighed. Just seeing Jacob made me feel on cloud nine. He was just that amazing.

I got it bad.
