•Chapter One//I Believe•
Ashton's POV:
"Do you think we'll meet a fan who's the one?" I asked Luke as he was walking beside me.
Its rare we get the chance to do this. We were walking down a pathway in a park. The stars were twinkling bright above us and the moon was large. The soft Autumn breeze made the golden trees rustle and tiny dandelion seeds filled the cool air.
I stared at the stars while my hands were shoved into my pockets.
"I mean, it'd be nice to date a fan." I muttered again.
I kinda hope my other half is a fan.
I'm not one who believes in those wishing stuff... I don't believe in shooting stars or candle wishes. I don't believe in 11:11 or New Years kisses. But its always good to hope for things.
I want my other half to be a fan.
Our fans are beautiful, strong, dependant.. I want someone like that. Our fans have always supported us. I think our fans deserve the best, but sadly there's only one of me. I can't marry the whole fandom. If I meet that one fan who's my other half, I'll feel accomplished.
"I'd like to date a fan." Luke's raspy voice muttered beside me. We took a seat on a bench and looked up at the sky.
No city lights to block the view of the breath taking night sky.
It was absolutely gorgeous.
"Look, at shooting star. Make a wish!" Luke pointed up at the sky. I watched as the star shot across the sky. But I was late. I didn't make a wish, but with these things, I never really do.
"What did you wish for?" Luke asked as he looked over at me.
"Nothing. Luke, I don't believe in these things. I never make wishes on shooting stars." I muttered, still looking up at the sky.
"Why not?" He pouted at me.
"I think its stupid. You're wish will never come true." I said to him.
"It'll come true if you believe in it." He whispered to me.
"It won't, Luke."
"Yeah, it will. If you believe." Luke sighed, as if I was disappointing him.
"Those wishing things are just jokes." I mumbled.
"On my 10th birthday, I wished to become famous and save lives. Tell me, did that happen?" Luke sat up.
I stayed quiet.
"Well Ash, it did happen. Here I am, beside my best mate, and we're famous. We saved so many lives and we sell out arena's. I wished for all this, when I was 10. I blew out my candles, and look here now." Luke said, now frustrated.
He really believed.
He felt strongly about this.
"I just never believed."
"Have you never wishes for something like this?" Luke calmed down.
"Well, of course I have-"
"Then your wish came true. How can you still say you don't believe?" Luke cut me off.
I shrugged nervously.
"Listen, Ash.. I'm not gonna force you to believe in these things. But at least have hope. In your eyes, I see that you think you'll never find that someone special. You think it won't be a fan. I have hope for you, but you gotta have hope for yourself." Luke muttered to me.
I just shrugged.
"I do have a feeling that special girl of mine is a fan.." I smiled lightly, staring at the stars again.
"That feeling, is you believing." Luke said with a light chuckle in his voice.
"You do believe."

Calum's POV:
"Do you think everyone has that special someone that's made just for them?" I asked Michael who was tuning his guitar for tomorrow nights show. He looked at me like he had no idea what I just said.
I sigh as I looked up at the night sky, my bass in my hands. The stars were shinning brightly tonight, which was very rare in a city.
"Like do you think someone out there is the one for me?" I asked again. I look back at Michael beside me, who was already looking at me,
"It would be nice to know that no matter what life we live, there's a girl out there for us. A girl who actually loves us for us, not because we're in a famous band." I continued on looking back up at the stars,
"I guess it would be a bonus if that special someone was a fan."
It was possible right?
I don't usually believe in wishes coming true, shooting stars , birthday wishes. It just seems pretty stupid relying on dandelions, stars, and candles to make a dream come true. But something about to tonight is making me believe.
"Who the fuck are you and what have you done to Calum?" Michaels voice interrupts my deep thoughts. I looked at him as he sat down on the edge of the stage. "You aren't usually up to talk about these kind of shit." He points out.
"Would you date a fan?" I randomly asked ignoring his statement.
"Yes," he replies with no hesitation.
I looked at him as he looked up at the sky, and I joined him.Would I?
Our fans are the best, no doubts. They are beautiful, strong, supportive, and you can always count on them...
They're basically the perfect girlfriend.
Too bad you can't easily date with a job like this.
Once again I let out a sigh, and silent washes over us.
"So you believe in wishes coming true?" Michael asks.
"No," I say simply.
"Why do you think we're here right now?" He asks motioning to the whole stadium.
I looked up at the sky as if the answer was written in the stars, and just as I looked up, a shooting star passes by, and a light autumn breeze picked up and I was soon surrounded by dandelions seeds that came from a near by park.
"Cal, if you believe in something hard enough, it will come true, with a little hard work," Michael says, now being the one talking about things he never usually does. "If you believe that someone out there is made for you, then one day she will come," after those words I was alone on the stage.
For the fifth time that night, I looked at the sky.
I do believe that one day I can finally settle down.
And I have a feeling that special someone is a fan.
I do believe..
