…………………………. Lyinthroughpocolitus.” He must have seen the strange looks he was getting because he continued explaining.  “Lyinthroughpocolitus is a rare sickness only werewolf’s get. It is almost impossible to cure unless your Mate happens to be royal. It is not contagious, but it is highly painful and will kill her in less than three months unless immediate action is taken.” We all turn and face the twins once again. Both Alexander and Violet are giving their sons the death glare, even the doctor is looking at them with disapproval. The twins just stare at the ground and I feel my heart break into a million tiny pieces. I was going to die and it wasn’t going to be pretty or easy, all because my stupid mates couldn’t man up and take care of their little toy. A happy song rings through the room and a blush coats my cheeks as I pull my phone from my bag next to me. Everyone including my mates look at me as I answer the phone,

            “MIA KINGSTONE WHAT DID YOU DO????? I JUST GOT A CALL FROM THE HOSPITAL SAYING SOMETHING ABOUT HOW YOU ARE IN INTINSIVE CARE AND I WAS THE ONLY NUMBER TO CALL AND I NEEDED TO GET DOWN THERE!!!!!!! YOU BETTER START TALKING MISSY.” I wince but the king just looked like he was having a hard time not laughing at the sound of Ally’s voice yelling as loud as she could. Hunter made a chocking sound causing me to look over at him only to be shocked enough I didn’t even register that Ally was once again talking…………well yelling. Hunter was staring wide eyed at the phone like it held his world. If I could I would probably do a happy dance, looked like my new brother and my best friend were mates. It took me a minute to remember I was on the phone with Ally and she wasn’t talking which meant she was waiting for a reply and Ally was not patient.

            “Look Ally it will be easier if you just come down here so I can explain it. It’s a really long story plus I really want you to meet some people.” I lock eyes with Hunter and see him send a million watt smile my way. I can hear the twins shifting uneasily at the thought of meeting her, about the only person they had to get approval of, you know if they actually wanted me, but I guess Violet looked at them again because all noise stopped.

            “Alright I be there in twenty, just let me get past the dumb ass I have to call my brother.” I shiver at the thought of the future beta and a harsh sounding growl echo’s around the room courtesy of the king. Everyone looks at him in confusion but he doesn’t give them an answer just watches me, like my mates are supposed to. Ally starts to ask something but I quickly hang up on her causing Hunter to glare at me for a moment before smiling again. We were all happy for once so of course something had to ruin it. A sharp pain ripped through my gut and up to my heart, the heart monitor spiked and the doctor, who was still in the room rushed over and started to poke and prod at my throat and the machines surrounding me. The pain only increases and I cried out in pain. The twins go to stand but are pushed back by their parents. Hunter rushes to my side all thoughts of his mate forgotten. He grabs my hand and mumble soft words in my ear while the doctor works franticly around me. Slowly the pain starts to dull, it’s still there but manageable.

“Unfortunately that’s not the worst it will get.” The doctor throws me a sympathetic glance while Hunter wipes the tears off my face and the king and queen walk over to me and stands next to my side. The twins stand as well but go to the foot of my bed. Just then the door flies open and a blond girl with two little strips of fabric launches herself at my mates. It’s only been five minutes since my call with Ally so this is someone I don’t know and I already know I don’t like them. They may not want me but they are still my mates and no one touches what’s mine, but before I can growl or yell or anything she starts to talk.

            “Oh my god I missed you guys like so much I haven’t seen you in like forever.” Her voice makes all of wince. Hunter is glaring at her like she is worse than stepping on a piece of gum bare foot. But what the twins do next breaks my heart and brings back the pain I had. They hug her back and even smile like they mean it and are happy to see her, a smile I have yet to see cast my way.

            “Veronica we can’t believe you’re here” Josh chirps with a wide smile my heart aches at the sound of the girl they had ready to replace me rolling of his lips so easily.

            “Yeah why are you here?” Jake can barely contain the excitement at seeing their girlfriend. I feel a tear roll down my cheek and that’s when the door bangs open a second time, only this time the Calvary has arrived

            “What the hell is going on here?”

I shifted my weight once again. Ally has only been here five minutes and already the boys look like scolded puppies and she kicked that bitch out after realizing she had no right to be anywhere near my mates. Since then she has positioned herself next to my bed growling at anyone who dared get anywhere near me except Hunter. And that was only after he explained that he was my new sibling and as her mate he would never hurt her in anyway and that included hurting me, or something like that. I stopped paying attention to anything, my wolf was whimpering in the back of my head confused on what was going on, after all the people we were supposed to love us forever didn’t even want to love us know and they didn’t even know about all the extra crap I came with. I was staring into space but still listing to what was being said around me. Hunter and Ally were next to each other talking about ranks and life and all kind of other lovey dovey live together forever kind of stuff, you know the kind of stuff I will never get to talk about because I’m not worth it. After all my mates are pretty much letting me die, it would be kinder to shoot me now and put me out of my misery. The King and Queen were over in a corner with their heads together talking in hushed whispers about me, guess being the Chosen one with awesome enhanced senses really comes in handy sometimes. The twins were just looking at a wall probably wondering how they’re going to fuck there girl friend next. The doctor comes in and says something about how everyone had to leave, and it didn’t matter if they were the King or not they had to go home or at least to a hotel. I smirk as I see my chance, if they didn’t want me I wouldn’t get in there way but I was going to enjoy my last few months and I knew I couldn’t do that with every one hovering over me. Hunter and Ally put up a pretty good fight but in the end they left together and we all know what they were planning on doing that night. About an hour after he kicked everyone out he came back to check on me before heading home to his mate and pups. As he leaves he flips the light off and that’s when I make my move, I change into some extra clothes Ally left and simply walk out the door. I was going to live before I had to die, and I wasn’t going to stay around long enough to see that Slut on the thrown, I was the chosen one but I wasn’t chosen by the one’s that really mattered. So I left….. Again.

Thank HomeFlower for this one, other wise I wouldn't have updated for three weeks thanks to one comment after my little rant that told me I needed to have longer updates and faster. If I get anymore comments like this I will consider taking my story down. I don't like that you feel the need to tell me to update faster, if you cant except my update speed delete my story and stay away from my page. For my loyal followers, thanks for all you do.
