Mia’s Pov
My head was killing me; I was so sick and tired of waking up like this. Ever since I found them my mates had brought me nothing but pain, this was nothing like the fairy tales I had heard this was hell. I could feel them in the room but refused to let them know I was awake, I know part of what they did wasn’t their fault but the angels, however they were their riding shotgun and part of me believes they could have fought more. The door slamming open almost makes me jump but I manage to hold still. I smirk as I recognize the scent and growl of the king. My mates were about to get their asses handed to them.
“You imbeciles. You inconsiderate apes. You fools. Your mother and I raised you better than that.” Each insult was accompanied by a harsh slap I could almost picture the boys, heads lowered to the ground in shame, not trying to defend themselves at all. It takes me a moment to realize that’s exactly what they’re doing. I had broken into one of the guard’s heads and was watching through his eyes, accidently of course. “How could you do this to her? What were you thinking? Never mind you weren’t thinking, you are no sons of mine. If she is hurt even the slightest I will bring hell to earth and let it drag you back down with it.” I was silently cheering and on the verge of jumping up to give the king a hug. Suddenly a soft tinkling laugh breaks through the room making us all stiffen and forcing me to open my eyes. The boys crouch down in front of me resulting in a glare from both of their parents myself and Hunter and Ally. The laugh floats by again and I relax and smile as I recognize it. The king and Hunter relax to knowing there is no harm if I trust the bodiless voice. The boys fall the floor their eyes staring in wonderment into the air. That’s all it takes for me to know I was right. My mother has decided to pay us a visit.
Sorry sorry sorry. I know I don't have a valid reason for leaving like I did. I am really really sorry. :( I will try to be back more often but no promises.
