"Asuka!" Draven exclaimed gratefully.
"What do we know?"
"Oh yeah. Right. The weird eye on his forehead is his Imperial Arms and it allows him to forsee the future and make a vision of the person you love the most or something. I think the blades on his arm are part of the Imperial Arms. Not sure though."
"Asuka!" Zank said gleefully. "Hey, from one assassin to another, how do you keep out the voices?"
"What voices?" Asuka asked in curiosity.
"Oh you know." Zank said while pacing in a circle. "The ones of the people you've killed screaming and yelling for you to come to hell with them."
"I don't have the voices then." Yep. One look at this guy and you could tell he was absolutely insane.
"Darn. I was really hoping someone like you would understand. I guess I was wrong... See, I keep the voices away by talking. I talk and talk and talk and-"
"Stop. Look. I really really care and everything, but you just tried to kill Draven. That's something I'm not willing to let slide. And as a bonus, you just happen to be our target." Finishing the sentence, Asuka dashed at Zank launching into a combo of water and sword attacks.
However, not a single hit touched the executioner. "I TOLD you I could read your mind!" Slicing downwards and sending Asuka flying backwards, he continued to talk. "If you want to kill me you're gonna have to do better than brute force! Asuka! Entertain me!"
"I see....Then..." Asuke closed her eyes in concentration. When she opened them, her mind was a blank slate.
"Oohhhhh... Clearing your mind. Quite impressive if I do say so myself. But even so.... You're gonna have to work harder than that!" Zank then leapt towards Asuka sending his own volley of blows at her until she turned the tables and went on the offensive.
Each strike was precise and full of power. However, Zank had blocked and parried every single one. Even the attacks with her ability.
"I can read your movements through movements in your muscles. You won't be landing any hits on me anytime soon!" Zank sliced in a downward motion and managed to cut Asuka at her thigh.
'What? I've never seen Asuka get wounded in battle!' Draven thought silently.
Then, the two assassins dashed at each other. Sparks flew everywhere. Their blades clashed over and over until Asuka was forced to block a blow that launched her into an old stone wall.
"No! Asuka!!"
"He heh... I thought this would be harder..." Zank said chuckling a bit as the stone wall crashed over Asuka.
Suddenly, as if on cue, water shot out from the stone rubble. Coughing and panting, Asuka stands up. "Well... You thought right." Dusting off dirt from her trench coat, she walks towards Zank. "I'm not gonna be that easy to kill... But I made a promise. I promised Mikoto that I wouldn't die on her... And I have no intent of breaking that promise. You're going down, Zank."
"Oh ho ho!" Laughed Zank like a twisted Santa Claus. "Splendid.... ENTERTAIN ME MORE!!!!"
Zank lauched himself at Asuka with a gleeful smile on his face. As if this were only a game to him. Even while injured, Asuka skillfully blocked each move while Zank continued to talk.
"Say, kid. You over there." He said nodding his head in Draven's direction.
"Uh.... Yes?"
"You know..." Zank starts while blocking a deadly strike from Asuka. "That when two Imperial Arms users fight, at least one of them has to die or the battle has to end in a draw."
