Night Raid Base
Music start.
"Yes! I'm finally healed!" Mikoto declared, standing up from her bath. She hastily put on her Tokiwadai uniform and ran towards the training area.
Busting her way through the door, with her new katana, she yelled,"Hey! Anyone here?! I need someone to train with!"
Looking at the scene before her, Mikoto stiffened, blushed, then quickly whirled around. Touma and Draven, both shirtless, were doing push-ups with Ciara sitting on Draven and Asuka on Touma.
"Oh, hey Mikoto. I see that you've recovered." Asuka greeted.
Whith her back turned, Mikoto replied, "Oh, hey Asuka. Er... What are you doing...?"
Just helping these guys out with their training." Ciara answered.
Pausing to take a breath, Draven wheezed out some words. "I vowed to Asuka that I would get stronger... What happened that day, on the Ryuusen... I'm sorry I wasn't able to keep Nyau busy. But that only strengthens my resolve..." He panted. "I need to train my body in order to take on people like Nyau... So that's why..."
"So... Why are you shirtless... Touma...."
"Eh? Oh, uh... because since Draven was doing it, may as well do it too, right? And I'll get sweaty and stuff..."
"Get moving!" Ciara commanded Touma. "You haven't even done half as many push-ups as Draven!"
"Well, that's to be expected." Everyone's eyes were on Asuka, calmly eating her cookies. "Since Ciara weighs more than I do....."
Mikoto stared at Asuka with no words to say.
'She didn't just say that.... Right...?'
Ciara spun around and punched the top of Asuka's head. Asuka looked back at Ciara with a 'what-did-you-do-that-for' look. A swollen red lump formed at the top of her head and she placed her hand on it, wincing in pain.
"Ow...."
"Oh, you're all here."
Mikoto turned her head towards the sound of her boss' voice. She was carrying a large backpack on her back filled with supplies and holding the two teigu from the battle on the Ryuusen.
"Boss. What's with that getup?" Draven asked. "Heading over to the Revolutionary Army HQ?"
"Yep. I've got to hand over the two teigu from your battle."
Draven eyed the axe shaped teigu. "Uh... Hey, you know that the axe is ridiculously heavy...."
Shisuki put one hand on the handle and lifted it off of her back. "Oh, yeah I know. I probably couldn't use it in battle, but if it's just carrying it around then I can handle it."
"Hey, Mikoto..." Draven whispered.
"Yeah?" Mikoto asked in a normal voice, making no attempt to keep quiet.
"Was the boss always this amazing?"
"You DO know that she was a general for the army before this, right?"
"Eh?!" Draven looked back at his boss who was sporting a pleased expression.
Setting her backpack and teigu down, Shisuki gave her orders. "I leave the place in your hands Asuka. The standing orders are, 'Everyone, train!'."
Asuka nodded slightly and opened her mouth to say something, only to be interrupted by Draven.
"What?! Is it really okay to leave the whimsical one in charge?!"
