"We keep this love in a photograph and make these memories for ourselves."
Ed Sheeran.Jordan: It's been 3 whole years since I saw her.
Daphne: He was my best friend. We became friends when we were learning to talk I think.
Jordan: How time flies.
Daphne: Who would think that ten years after high school would come so fast?
Jordan: I still have the graduation picture.
Daphne: I take the graduation picture everywhere I go.
Jordan: That day was super packed and I spent most of it with her.
Daphne: That day was so full of many things to do. We had a baseball match and graduation. But I spent most of the day with him
Jordan: Our friendship was something I cherished and I didn't want to ruin it.
Daphne: He was such a good friend and I couldn't say ...
Jordan: I just couldn't tell that
Both: I love you.
Jordan: It all started when she went to Paris one summer.
Daphne: when I went to Paris, I missed him a lot.
Jordan: She had changed so much, she had become more beautiful.
Daphne: I felt strange any time saw him. His company made me feel kind of happy, in a weird way.
Jordan: Any time I saw her, my heart kind of missed a beat.
Both: I think that I am falling in love with my best friend... Gone are those days
Daphne: I hope I see him this homecoming
Jordan: I hope she is coming for homecoming.
Shannon: Jordan, come down right now.
Jordan: And that is my wife. I sometimes ask myself, "Why did I marry her."
Jordan went downstairs to listen to whatever she had to say and tell her the good or bad news of his trip.
Shannon: Jordan, I'll be going to see my family tomorrow.
Jordan: Great, I thought you'll be all alone when I went for homecoming.
Shannon: Wait, you never told me that you were going for your high school's homecoming.
Jordan: Well I was coming to tell you about it.
Shannon: Jordan, this marriage cannot go on if we keep on the way we are.
Jordan: Now you really want to make this marriage work. Tell me why are you really going to see your family?
Shannon: I miss them...
Jordan: Well enjoy the visit...Shannon.
Shannon: I will..... Thank you!
Jordan and Shannon had been married for 3 years now but since 2 years after their wedding....it has been one fight after another.
Jordan went to his work room to finish some paper work. Actually he couldn't concentrate. He was thinking about Daphne and all the time they spent together till she moved to London.

JORDAN.
Here I am sitting on the couch in my work room. I thought I would actually finish the paperwork I have but...Daph... Why did she move and change like everything about her. I know I should have called her about 3 months back... Now she changed her number and....damn, why doesn't she like social networks. I really need to give her a talk on its importance. I still can't forget those times she'll drag me to church to play the piano so she can sing, and how she will cringe when I said a swear word around her. I miss her smile and how innocent she looks... BTW....she can put the P in pain. I remember when she was late for my wedding...
Wait... This feels wrong. I'm here thinking about my best friend while I'm mad at my wife. I hate it when I have to go fix things like this.
Walking down to our bedroom which I have been kicked out of for like a year now, I hear her talking to someone on her phone. Oh God, I wish she had never got that accident... our whole relationship changed afterwards. Gathering a lot of courage, I walked into the room and sat on the bed. I could see her eyes travelling along with my steps.
"Shannon, I'm sorry... For not telling you about me going for my high school homecoming."
Dropping her phone on the bed..." And I'm sorry for being mad at you."
I responded nodding my head "Me too.. Shan... why do we keep on fighting nowadays?"
She looked at the ground " Hmmm... I don't even know...do you?"
I couldn't help but close my eyes "I miss us before the accident... All the amazing things we had going on..."
She sat next to me " I couldn't remember how I even got that accident."
I turned to look at her "Do you remember now?"
Shaking her head "Jordan...I don't want to talk about that now...maybe later."
I clearly didn't want to start another fight so I nodded in agreement. She looked straight into my face and said, "Maybe me going to visit my family will help me clear my mind."
And I added "And help us heal too."
" Yeah." I hugged her ad gave a smile before leaving to go and finish the paperwork.
***To whom it may concern. ;)
This is my second book to publish and I don't really know how to feel about it but I hope you enjoy it and even ask for more. I can't promise that it would be the best book ever but I hope you like it. Thanks :)
