High School Screw Ups

Chapter 1-Emily

Shit.

I got suspended again. "Why Emily, just why", my mother drones on and on. Some kid was getting on my nerves, I don't even know the poor guy's name but he was walking really slow in the hallway and stopping and starting, but he took up the WHOLE walkway and it isn't the first time he's made me late to class but today was the first time I've snapped... at him anyway.

I was walking along already five minutes late and expecting detention when I finally did get to math but unfortunately I never quite got there, wanna know why? This kid is why. I was walking behind him edging slowly along the hallway and he stopped and said hi to a massive group of people that weren't letting anyone through and honestly I don't know what came over me but I lost it. I started yelling and screaming in he face and THIS KID had the nerve to yell back so naturally I knocked him out.

I know it's a bit much but I've had anger issues since I was about 11. I'm on medication but it isn't working so they're putting me on a new drug starting tomorrow and I have a three day suspension, yay! It's not all bad news though. During my suspension I get to hang out with Kyle who I've known since I was probably two.He's in the process of moving schools so I'm spending my time 'wisely' by 'filling him in' on the way the school works. I haven't seen him in a while so I'm definitely looking forward to it. Wish me luck!
