OOTPOOTPOOTPOOTPOOTP

The next morning I managed to wake up by myself for once. It was around six in the morning and a heavy weight hit me in the face immediately. Today's Harry's hearing. I got up and made up my bed silently without waking the twins before looking at a chair in the corner to see an outfit someone had left for me. Well, it was obviously for me since it was a black pencil skirt with a cream top and a black blazer. It seemed fitting enough for what was to come. Once dressed, I looked back and forth between the shoes someone had left for me - dressy black flats - and my black sneaker wedges. Cute or professional? Cute - professional. Ugh, this is hard...

In the end, I wore the wedges.

I twisted my hair into a tight bun at the back on my head and left the room to trudge downstairs solemnly, almost feeling the heavy tension radiating from those who were awake in the house. If Harry were to be found guilty, he'd never see Hogwarts again. Upon entering the kitchen, I saw Mrs Weasley, Tonks, Remus and Sirius all sitting at the table with breakfast before them along with Harry, who was dressed in a smart suit (though his hair was still as messy as ever). "'Morning," I muttered lowly. Everyone replied in a robotic monotone.

"You look nice, Evangeline," Tonks smiled as brightly as she could, which wasn't much. "I see my clothes fit you alright. I thought we'd be around the same size,"

"These belong to you?" I asked, surprised and slightly touched. "Thank you..."

"Don't sweat it, kiddo. It's fine." she said. I took my seat next to Harry and he pushed his barely touched breakfast towards me. "You can have it. I'm not hungry." he said. I frowned deeply at him.

"Harry, no. You should eat something before the hearing, Otherwise you won't feel well," I told him. He shook his head and swallowed thickly. "If I eat anything, I seriously won't feel well." I sighed and pushed the plate between us. "We'll share, then," I said, taking some eggs onto my fork. "How're you feeling, then?"

"Terrified."

"I could guess as much."

We left the conversation at at that.

I couldn't help but keep on glancing at his hair throughout the shared meal. It was like he didn't even try to brush it. And so, when I finished my half of breakfast I excused myself to quickly go upstairs and retrieve my Sleakeazy's Hair Gel and comb. When I came back down tot he kitchen, I stood behind Harry and placed the things on the table next to his (still, untouched) food. "What're you-?"

"Stay still, I'm dealing with your hair." I said.

"There's nothing wrong with it," he protested.

"There's everything wrong with it. You can't expect them to take your case seriously looking like you just rolled out of bed and threw on a suit. Let me help you." he stopped squirming and sat still, allowing me to apply the gel to his hair and comb it backwards. Surprisingly, it didn't spring right back up like I thought it would. I stepped back and smiled at my work done. "There. Maybe you should start buying women's products, Harry," I joked. He snickered and smiled lightly.
