When we were done eating Gabe wanted to just spend time with me at my house. Mainly because he didn't want to go to his house and my house was closer to the ice cream store.
So we did and when we got to my house into my room, he asked me a question.
"So the middle school dance is coming up and I wanted to go with you. Will you be my date?" He asked scratching the back of his head.
"Of corse I will go with you, Gabe." I responded. He smiled.
"It's in a week." He said

I heard a knock on the door and assuming it was Gabe, but it wasn't. It was my boyfriend, Hayes. In a suit. "What are you doing here?" I asked panicked.
"Well you told me you had a dance so I decided to surprise you and be your date." said Hayes.
"But I already have a date."
