My... uh,you know, friend

I was at Laura's house . We were playing video games. For the past week,I've been living like a normal tween and man,it's so awesome! Like food is delicious and nobody hangs out in the cemetery. Plus video games are sooooo cool! I can see why humans become addicted to them so easily.

"So I know that life as a human is pretty boring,but you'll just have to deal with it for an year."
Laura said,once I beat her. These games are so easy...

"Are you kidding me?! I'm living the life right now."
I said,getting the remote and turning the TV on.

"What's your favorite movie?"
She asked.

"Hmm... I don't know. I like romantic movies in general.."

"Really?"
Laura said with a face,clearly not believing a word.

"Yeah. Really. What's so surprising about it?"

"Well... You're a demon."

"So?"

"Isn't your life basically like a horror movie? And you're the bad guy in it."

"Exactly. Horror movies bore me. I didn't like them when I was alive either,but I gotta admit they scared me back then. Right now it's just like watching a reality show. Even worse. 'Cause nothing happens."
I explained.

"Wow. I didn't think about it in this way."

"Well to understand me,you have to see thongs from my point of view."
I shrugged.

"Do you want to watch 'The Fault In Our Stars'?"

"Nah... I think that movie is overrated."

"How dare you?!"
Laura gasped loudly,making me chuckle.

"How about we watch 'Romeo and Juliet'? It used to be my favorite."
I suggested.

"Alright. I haven't seen it in a while."

She put on the movie and I grabbed some snacks and some soda,then we cuddled together on the couch. After that I think we fell asleep,I don't know,but next thing that I remember is hearing the door being unlocked.

"Laura,there's someone at the door."
I woke her up.

"It's probably nothing."
She snuggled up on my chest a little more.

"Laura? Are you home? "
I heard a girl'd voice and Laura shot up immediately and ran to the door. And there goes the warm feeling.

"Vanessa!"
Laura exclaimed and by the tone of her voice,I could tell she was happy.

I got up from the couch cleaned a bit the mess we made while eating. I went in the kitchen to put some bags -that we didn't start yet-back and I heard Laura calling me.

"Ross! Come in the living room ,please!"
Laura yelled and I did as I was told.

"Hi."
I greeted the girl that I'm assuming is Vanessa, Laura's sister.
