Danny's POV~Chapter 2~Evening on Same Day

"Jazz, it's time." I whisper softly to my sister who had been reading on the couch near the window. I look down at my scarred and thin hands as Jazz closed her book and set it aside before getting up and sitting down next to me on the main couch in the living room, leaning to the side to gently lay her head on my shoulder in a sisterly manner.

"Are you sure you want to do this Danny? I just don't want you to regret this once it's been set in motion." She questioned in a concerned tone but I couldn't blame her since she really has been the one who is always there for me and kind of took the parent roll for me when mom and dad were busy with a new ghost weapon.

"I'm sure Jazz. Could you go get them for me though and make sure they don't bring any weapons with them?" I ask softly after taking in a deep breath that ended up sounding very unstable.

In reply, Jazz nodded before standing up, ruffling my hair a bit before going into the kitchen and disappearing down into the lab. I took in yet another deep breath to calm my nerves before standing and pacing in the living room, only to be stopped after a few seconds when Jazz came back into the room with our weapon free parents with curious looks, clearly wondering what I had to talk to them about. Once they were settles I breathed in deeply before beginning, knowing there wasn't any backing out now.

"Mom. Dad," I began softly," do you remember, a year ago, when you built the ghost portal and it didn't work at first?" They nod, now seeming curious as to where I was going with this. "Well, it worked because I accidentally fixed it. I went into it and tripped over my own foot and pressed a button on the wall of the portal. Apparently I had turned it on while I was in it. The portal changed me." As they gasp I couldn't help but cringe at how loud they were yet held a hand up before they, mainly mom, could say anything. "Please don't be mad. The portal caused me to turn into...this."

As I say the final word, two familiar white blue rings appear around my torso, one traveling up my body and the other traveling down. Once the two rings disappeared, I had snow white hair with green eyes, clearly letting them know that I was Phantom.

I look at their faces to find any sign of acceptance. But all I saw was horror and hate. Suddenly dad somehow pulled out a ghost weapon that I didn't even know we had out from under the couch and started to shoot at me with a determined look, clearly wanting to end me. Mom somehow pulled out an identical gun and soon, both parents were shooting at me while I was forced back into the wall and eventually down onto the floor, screamed in pain for them to stop and that I was still their son.

But just as quick as the attack began, both my parents came to a sudden stop confusing me before my eyes fell on my sister bleeding and unconscious on the floor before me.
