Bella
I turn to the Cullen's and cross my arms.
"Why are you here?" I ask.
"Because Alice said Jasper was. With you. He's unstable. He hunts humans! It's not safe for you or Carlie to be around him." Carlisle says trying to turn me against Jasper. Rosalie snorts in a. Usenet and stands by Jasper.
"I'm on Jasper's side here. Hunting humans doesn't make you unstable. If anything Edward is unstable." Rosalie says.
"He is not unstable! He's grieving. He's never done anything wrong. " Carlisle snaps.
"Never done anything wrong? He tried to kill me, he hunts humans. I can see it. His eyes are orange. No gold. Orange. Which means he hunts both. He's been following me. I've seen him with Victoria! He's broken every rule of your coven and he's never done anything wrong?" I ask surprised.
"You have no idea what your talking about." Esme says firmly. I use my shield to bring Edward in the house but make the shield surround him so he can't get out if it.
"Look at his eyes! The only way you get orange eyes is hunting both humans and animals! You said so yourself Carlisle." I snap.
"As long as your with Jasper your not safe." Carlisle says ignoring me.
"Get out of my house." I snap flinging Carlisle, Esme, and Edward from my house with my shield.
"The rest of you May stay." I say calmly and look around as Jake comes back down.
"I'm gonna take a shower, have you eaten dinner yet?" He asks and I shake my head.
"No I haven't. I haven't had the time to make anything." I say.
"Alright. Well I'll make something when I get out of the shower." He says.
"No Thats alright. Cooking will distract me." I say and he nods before going to shower. I go into the kitchen and pull some stuff out for spaghetti and start cooking. The others come in and I look up and smile.
"So Alice how has your search been going?" I ask and she frowns.
"Bad." She says and I laugh lightly.
"Bella?" Rosalie asks.
"Yes Rosalie?" I ask.
"Why did you let us stay?" She asks.
"You mean why did I let you stay?" I ask amused.
"Well... Yeah." She says hesitantly.
"1) your not trying to tell me what to do, 2) your not telling me who I am and am not safe with, and 3) I like you, you've never lied to me, you've never acted like you liked me. And I trust you around Carlie." I say stirring the pasta.
"Why?" She asks confused
"Because you would never hurt her. She's a child." I say calmly.
"Thank you Bella." She says softly.
"Of course Rosalie. What have you guys been doing for the last 3 years?" I ask curiously.
"Slowly withdrawing from the Cullen Clan. Emmett and I haven't worn the Cullen crest in a year. They never even noticed." Rosalie says darkly.
"Thats because unless your name is Edward they don't care." I say coldly.
"We figured that out." Alice says softly.
"What happened?" I ask confused.
"Well after we all left here nothing seemed to change with them. Carlisle and Esme seemed happier. Edward well you know him. The rest of us though, we were depressed. I loved Forks. I always loved small towns so Emmett and I remarried and spent our honeymoon in a small town in Russia. Alice said she kept you updated after you had Carlie. So you know most of what happened. After we came back from our honeymoon things started changing. They were telling us we couldn't do certain things, and if we did them anyway they wouldn't let us hunt. It was terrible. After that we changed. Emmett started picking fights with them, everyone was saying they wanted to come back here and see you and when we did they got really mad. Carlisle said that you were dead and we would never see you again so we needed to Just forget about you. After Alice started talking to you we realized they lied to us. So I confronted them, they attacked me. I was the only one there the others we're hunting. They tore my limbs off before they returned and helped me. It took a week to recover. After that we decided to leave but with Jasper the way he was we didn't want to leave him with them. So we stayed until Jasper left last week. Then we started to go but Esme pulled the I'm your mother and you wouldn't abandon your mother card. Then we ended up here." Rosalie explains and I stop cooking to look at her shocked.
"They attacked you? Carlisle and Esme did? Edward was a given. I know he had it in them but the others?" I ask shocked.
"Yeah." She says.
"I am so sorry. I always knew there was something off with them." I say quietly.
"What do you mean?" Emmett asks.
"They were way too nice." I say after a minute. I mix the pasta with the sauce and dish out 2 plates setting them both. On the table just as Jacob appears.
"My favorite. Thanks Bella" He says smiling. "Of course. Enjoy." I say and eat quickly.
"Don't you work tomorrow?" Jake asks as I start cleaning up.
"Yeah I'm gonna go to bed when I finish cleaning." I say.
"No I'll clean you go to bed. You have to be up early." He says.
"So do you. You patrol tomorrow, Emily gets to watch Carlie. I know she loves her." I say.
"I'll clean." Rosalie says starting the clean up.
"No. You shouldn't your a guest." I protest.
"I also don't sleep, besides it's the least I can do, your letting us stay here." She says and I nod.
"Alright well goodnight everyone." I say hugging each of them, including Rosalie before heading to my room. I change onto a long shirt and plug my phone in, shut my laptop down, turn the lights off and lay down closing my eyes.
