Keegan Brown
⠀⠀⠀⠀
"You're so beautiful." He whispered into the phone.
⠀⠀⠀⠀
Jack has been calling me every single time he's drunk or high. It has been happening for the past week. "I'm coming over, Jack. Text me your address." I replied and hung up. A minute or so later, I got a text from his saying his address and some other things I don't care about.
⠀⠀⠀⠀
I nodded my head in frustration and went in my car. I turned on the radio and called my dad on the way there, just to check up on him. Later I might visit my mom in the hospital if I have time. I arrived at Jack's house seeing the door wide open and loud yells coming from inside. I went in, seeing him throwing plates on the ground.
⠀⠀⠀⠀
"Jack?" I said in sadness as he dropped the last plate. He was drunk, he didn't know what he was doing.
⠀⠀⠀⠀
"You have to stop drinking." I spoke as he stumbled on his way to the couch and sat down.
⠀⠀⠀⠀
"Why are you even here, Keegan?" He moaned. I bit my lip as I replied.

"Because Jack, I'm a fucking drug dealer and I don't drink or hardly take any drugs. You need help, and I'm willing to help you!" I admitted.
⠀⠀⠀⠀
I knew him for a long time now. About seven years, to be exact. He was my neighbour a while ago till his family moved. Jack angrily sighed. "You're the one making me do all of this! You are!"
⠀⠀⠀⠀
"Me?" I asked confused. "You come to me begging to buy weed from me, and now you're telling me I'm the one whose making you? Stop blaming other people because you know it's yourself, Jack."
⠀⠀⠀⠀
"Just leave, okay? I don't want to see you." He slurred.
⠀⠀⠀⠀
"No, I'm not leaving. I know once I leave you'll call me to come back." I looked down. "Jack, you need to sleep."
⠀⠀⠀⠀
He continued laughing and talking to himself, then Jack took my hand and went upstairs to his bedroom. He jumped right into the bed. "I'll call you in a few hours, have a good sleep." I smiled as I was about to leave the door.
⠀⠀⠀⠀
"Stay with me, Keegan. Please." He begged, almost as if I was about to die.
⠀⠀⠀⠀
"Fine." I took of my shoes, jacket and lied on his bed.
⠀⠀⠀⠀
"Good night, Jack." I whispered as I put part of his blanket on me.
⠀⠀⠀⠀
"Good night, babe."
