You sat up on your building's rooftop, doing...nothing in particular. Just looking out at the skyline. The beautiful, amazing, New York skyline.
You heard a thump behind you. You turned around and saw a big shadow, two blue strips of cloth flowing behind it.
You giggled. "Hi Leo," you said.
"Hello, (Y/n)," he said back. He came over to you and sat down next to you.
"So," you said, trying to start a conversation. "How's life?"
"Good, I guess," he said. "Could be better."
"What makes you say that?"
"Bad guys, brothers, training, everything."
"Oh."
You two sat in silence for a while, until it started getting awkward.
"Is there something you came here for?" you asked, looking up at him.
He looked down at his lap, obviously trying to avoid what he came here to tell you. Fearless Leader got the jitters!
"Uhhhhh...." he went, trying to procrastinate. "I just...wanted to say...that..." He stopped again. "You...are a really good friend to me. You don't...run away." Our Fearless Leader has failed. Good job, Leo.
"T-thanks," you said, slightly disappointed. You kind of thought he way going to say that he liked you...
