When You Go On A Date ~Leonardo~

You smooth your jeans and (f/c) t-shirt. You make sure your hair is in the right place. Then, you take deep breaths. This is your first date in a long time, so you're kind of nervous.

You hear a light tap on your window. You turn around and see Leo standing there precariously, holding a dandelion.

You open the window and smile. "A dandelion? Didn't expect that."

"Yeah, I know it's not a standard gift," he says. "I can't exactly go into a store and get a whole bunch of roses. This was just kinda growing in the sidewalk crack and--"

You weren't about to tell him that dandelions are generally considered weeds, so you just say, "I think it's adorable." You take the yellow dandelion from his hand and smile. He smiles too, seeming relieved that you accepted his attempt at a suitable gift. You move and set it down on your nightstand.

"So, what do you have planned?" Leo asks, looking around nervously. You guess he's nervous because he's probably never been on a date.

"Well, I ordered pizza an hour and a half ago and it still isn't here." You shake your head in frustration. "I got some movies out, so we could choose from those."

"Sounds great." Leo smiles.

You hand him the movies and run downstairs quickly to get the pizza that just arrived. Once you come back up, he's still looking through them, not sure which one to pick.

You set the pizza down on your desk and point to one of the movies in his hand. "That's my favorite movie ever. Have you seen it?"

"No, I don't think I have," he admits.

"What?!" you exclaim, throwing your hands out to the sides. "Never?! Okay, we're watching that then."

You take the box and put the disc in the DVD player. You grab plates and some pizza for both of you, then sit down next to Leo on the floor. You hand Leo his pizza and push play.

A couple hours later and the movie is over. You enjoyed watching it again. Leo seemed content to just be there.

He stands by the window as you say your goodbyes.

"I had a good time," you say, smiling.

"Me too." He considers something for a second, before opening his arms to give you a hug. You gladly reciprocate the hug. Afterwards, he leaps out of the window and off into the night.

You sit down on your bed, moving an empty plate off to the side.

Tonight was fantastic.
