Chapter 17 Welcome to Lybrith

In most of my memories, I'm always chasing him. He's always so close to me but I can't remember his face...

"Wait! Where are you going!" The little boy ran after the taller man, he ran and ran but it was like he was running in circles... He reached his hand out-

"Please don't leave me behind!" Ty shouted reaching his hand out, Bodil looked at him concerned. "I'm right here you know..." He said awkwardly, Ty hissed at him and kicked where Bodil had just sat.

"Just die you boar!" Ty shouted , Bodil held out a green scarf "but look Ty~! I knitted a scarf for you while you slept the day away~!" Bodil said, Ty grinned evilly "fine give it to me, I'll choke you with it!"

Then Ty stopped and looked around, he had just realized that he wasn't with Jason or Sky...he wasn't in the alley way of the town...instead he was in some sort of castle...it looked like something from the book Alice In Wonderland"

"Ah, this is...The Cheshire Cats lair...do you remember we where kidnapped by him and placed here..." Bodil said as the two started walking around the strange area, it had white walls and checkered floors, there where flowers and dolls almost everywhere.

"This...this isn't sky's world?" Ty said as he looked around, Bodil shook his head "no, but it isn't the abyss either. You see this is a closed dimension between the two. That's why I haven't been able to get here." Bodil explained, then he twirled his cane around.

"Him being interested in you was truly a big help! Mainly since I was brought here too~!" Bodil cheered, Ty glared at him "s-so you used me as bait!?" Ty said and tried to hit Bodil who kept him back with just one hand.

He herd a crack and jumped out of the way of a falling chandler along with grabbing Ty as he did so. "Now then Ty, just so we're clear...mister kitty did not invite us to a tea party..." Bodil said as Ty sat there shocked.

"I daresay, he only has one objective...and that it to kill you in his own territory!" Bodil said and looked to where Ty was looking, three dolls had come to life and jumped at them.

Bodil used his cane and sliced all three dolls at ice making them vanish, "n-no way! Why me!?" Ty asked worriedly, "I mean I've had chains attack me before but not like this!" Bodil shrugged "it's probably cos' of that reason!"

"The fact that the intention of the abyss despises you~you see mister kitty is very devoted to the abyss, plus he's a special chain like you." Bodil explained and took out the scarf from earlier.

He then placed the scarf around Ty's neck, Ty's eyes widened as he tried to pull the thing off "it's a protective charm, it'll choke you if you try to take it off." Bodil pointed out as he watched Ty try to struggle out of it.

More dolls started to come out from their hiding places. Bodil sighed "hm...it'll be a little tiring fighting all these and so pardon me!" Bodil said quickly before picking Ty up bridal style.

"H-huh!? What the heck clown out me down!" Ty shouted and truffled around as Bodil took off running, "first off, I shall take you somewhere safe, cause right now your a powerless boy and it's a gentleman a job to protect those who can't protect themselves~!" Bodil said while smiling.

A sudden headache made Ty's head hurt, he had felt this feeling before but this seemed off...Bodil looked down at Ty concerned "Ty..?"

This was one of his memories coming back to him but this one wasn't like the others.."put me down now.." Ty said quietly, Bodil obeyed and set him down. They were now in an area near a big set of stairs.

"Hm? Are you alright now?" Bodil questioned, "you clown...you said that the Cheshire cat and I are alike...what do you know about me..?" Ty asked as he looked at Bodil who stood there then started to walk up the stairs.
