Chapter 18 Cheshire

Ty speed walked around the halls, forgetting which way he had came from and where he was going. He shivered as he herd the bell ring again.

"Huh? A....cat?" In front of Ty sat a little brown cat with a bell strapped around its neck and a small bacca hat on, it blinked a few times then took off running down the hall.

Ty held his head, that cat...isn't its name....Jerome?

"Sky...."

"Sky..."

Sky groaned as his eyes slowly opened to see a worried Jason he rubbed his eyes and sat up, they appeared to be in a random room, a book shelf was behind them and a stair case was in front of them.

"This is where the Cheshire Cat lives..?" Sky asked as he glanced around, "yes that seems to be the case." A voice stated making Sky jump.

"H-huh!? Jason I think Simons voice is coming from my shadow!!!" Sky shouted as he looked around at his shadow. "Oh sorry if I scared you Sky..!" Simon apologized quickly.

"Simon, why are you in sky's shadow? Shouldn't you be in bodils?" Jason asked, Simon sighed "yes it was but...the chain just lost sight of bodils shadow, something must have happened to him." Simon said sadly.

"My chain connects shadows and creates a portal to travel to the others shadow, but since something has happened to Bodil...you have been transported somewhere else in the dimension." Simon explained, Sky nodded.

"In any case, please look for those two. But since Bodil won't die easily please do go look for Ty first." Simon said as she sipped some tea, then that same bell noise Ty herd signaled around the two.
Jason looked around while Sky picked up a small stuffed animal, it looked like a bear in a suite..? Weird...

Suddenly Jason grabbed sky's arm and pulled him out of the way of an attack, sky's eyes widened when Jason took his gun out. "It's already here.,!?"

The ground where the two had been sanding was completely destroyed, there standing in their place was a man almost as tall as Jason.

"S-so this is the Cheshire c-cat?" Sky said as he looked at the man, he had a cat tail and ears, his ears popped through a small hat he was wearing and his claws hung out from the black suite he had on. His brown hair was messy while bandages covered his right eye...his left eye was a bright orange color.

"You guys....how did you get here?" Cheshire asked, "we want to ask the questions...what did you do to the two you took away?" Simons voice asked from sky's shadow.

Cheshire licked his claws and scratched his head, "if you mean the orange eyed one...he was dragged into a mirror moments ago. Held close by the arms of his last he ought to be in a deep sleep by now...oh and since your here, call me by my actual name, Jerome." He stated, Sky glared at him.

"For what reason did you attack those two!?" Sky asked, Jerome tilted his head "why...? It's obvious, they're enemies to the intention of the abyss!" He said then stood up.

"I didn't expect the orange eyed would come along with him...or that you would come along too....but...if I kill you, nothing would change!" The Jerome said with a laugh, his claws somehow looked sharper then before.

"H-hey Jason...what should we d-do!?" Sky asked panicked, but when he turned to look at Jason he noticed that Jason was frozen in fear.

"I-It's a-a c-c-cat!?" Jason stuttered terrified, Sky looked at him in disbelief, "your still scared of cats!? C'mon Jason! Snap out of it!" Sky shouted then pulled onto Jason's arm, just as Jerome ran and attacked.

"I didn't know that it was a cat!?" Jason whined, Sky face palmed "we where saying cat the whole time!" Sky said worriedly as Jerome came at them again but was stopped as a black most surrounded them.

"Yes...I see..."

Jerome was shoved back by the mist, a black unicorn stood in the mists place. It stomped its hooves and turned its attention to the cat. "I will take this chain with my own..." Simon said calmly.

Jerome started in shock, "Equus..?!", Simon smiled softly, "now Sky, head after those two..." Simon said, Sky was surprised...so this was Simons chain?

((I'm surprised that it wasn't a dolphin ))

Jason grabbed sky's arm and started to run off, "let's go Sky!", the two ran off the other way to the stairs while Simon held Jerome.

"I came to get information on the intention of the abyss from you,.." Simon said and watched as Jerome  jumped over Equus, "why do you and the other orange eye wanna know about that?" He asked bitterly.

"Both Bodil and I wish to know what happened 100 years ago..!" Simon stated, jerome sighed....and started to fade. "Sorry but I can't play with you at the moment.." With that Jerome was gone...

Simon sighed angrily and herd foot steps behind him, he turned around and his eyes widened-

"H-hey Jason! There's candy on the stairs over here!" Sky pointed out and picked up a piece, the two started to run up the stairs, "geez, why do we have to go through so much just to save them!?"

Sky chuckled "I agree with you so far as Bodil goes..." The two stopped once they reached the top, a clone of Ty stood at the top carrying a creeper doll. "T-Ty..?"

Jason quickly took his gun out and fired at the Ty, making it fall to the ground, "wha..!?" Jason pulled Sky back. "Look closely... It's a fake." Jason said.

A claw knocked Jason's gun out of his hand, the two backed away. Jerome hissed "Ty's memories are all bent up in this dimension..!?" Sky said surprised as he ran for the gun.

"So that means Ty's memories are all around here..!?" Sky asked, Jerome sighed and tilted his head. "What are you saying? The dimension itself was created by Ty's memories.." Sky's eyes widened "wha..!?"

Jerome jumped down from the railing and ran at Jason "by the way blue fellow~ you had a crow chain with you right? Why don't you take it out of its cage...?" Jerome smiled, "cos' I feel more like eating a bird right now~"

Jason glared at him, "why you!-" Sky suddenly fell to his knees making Jason look back at him "Sky-" Jerome grabbed onto Jason's arm.

"You're chain is dealing Ty's powers right? Well that's too bad, it looks like I won't be able to say hi to Raven..." Jerome said and shoved Jason off the railing making him fall back.

Sky's eyes widened as he picked the gun up, "j-Jason!" He called out, Jerome looked at Sky and pinned him to the ground. "You guys are collecting Ty's memories right?" Jerome asked, Sky struggled.

"Why are you doing that..?"

"Cos' Ty wants to find his memories!" Sky answered back, jerome tossed Sky into the mirror room from before, "liar!liar!liar!lair!" Jerome shouted.

He grabbed sky's neck, "only Jerome knows that...Ty tore up and threw all his memories away!" He shouted angrily. Sky was surprised...he threw them all away...?

Jerome pinned Sky to the wall, "his memories were scattered all around your world, cos he wanted to erase a certain memory the most.." Jerome examined, "he wanted to erase it...?"

Jerome nodded "yes. The day that Ty lost...everything..."
