"Mark," I laughed and he looked at me with sad eyes. "I really have to go – some of us aren't lucky enough to work from home!" I winked and he beamed fondly.

He looked at his watch and moved his head from side to side as he pondered our time difference. "It's only about...1am there, right?" I nodded and he shrugged. "What time do you have to be up?"

"I have to be at work in seven hours, and you know this, you giant doof!" I glanced at him warily and narrowed my eyes. "Is it possible you're stalling me?"

He placed his hands behind his head and leant back in his chair, obviously satisfied with himself. "Maaaaaaaybe..." He bit his lip and grinned smugly, stretching and flexing his muscles, which I'm sure was partially intentional.

"Not fair," I mouthed and he screwed his eyes shut and smiled widely. "Right, I'm hanging up now." I still felt emotional whenever I said these words.

He looked at me sadly as he saw I was serious. "I hate this bit, you know, and that has never changed. I love you to the moon and back, Little Biscuit Number 2..." He smiled and I rolled my eyes playfully.

"Ugh, so corny!" I laughed and blew him a kiss. "I love you too, baby." I half smiled before Mark ended the call, rather slowly I thought.

MarkicraftEF: I miss you already gorgeous! Can you make time go quicker?

I closed my eyes and sighed to myself at his message; I was planning to fly out to LA for our anniversary, and even two weeks until my flight was too long.

Gee_Whizz: You know I feel the same – always. I love you so frickafrackin much and you'll just have to be patient, unfortunately. I hate the distance sometimes.

MarkicraftEF: We've made it three years though, that's impressive! I'll try not to count down the days because I know it will go slower ;)

Gee_Whizz: Mmm, I suppose, and I'll try and do the same :p Goodnight, biscuit xxxxxxxxx

MarkicraftEF: Hey, that's my pet name! ;D Please sleep well haha xxxxxxxx <3

I shut down my laptop after that and got ready for bed, which just meant brushing my teeth as I was already in my pyjamas, which consisted of one of Mark's old t-shirts and pink PJ pants. I snuggled into my double bed and hugged the teddy Mark had bought me last time he had visited, before turning my lamp off and settling my head on my pillow. To cheer myself up, I thought about the past three years of our relationship – who would have known that a world-famous YouTuber would fall in love with a girl like me, just another face in his sea of fans?

Every day, I was constantly amazed that we had been together for three years, especially considering the circumstances. I fell more in love with him every time we talked, and there were always days where I would miss him like crazy. During the course of our relationship, I will admit that I had had petty little arguments with Mark about him having limited time to talk to me because of his schedule, and I had always realised how stupid these were after I had argued.

Nonetheless, I had supported his channel since we started dating, even appearing in a few vlogs and helping to celebrate milestones with him. Thankfully, his fanbase had continued to be positive towards me, which had increased my follower count on Twitter and earned me a few new friends. I had always been active in replying to any tweets that came my way, not wanting to seem superior because I was dating their idol, and I had always loved making new friends over the Internet anyway.

I must have slept thinking about Mark and me because Iwoke up at 6:30am with a smile on my face and couldn't help but let my mindwander freely to the date I would see him again, and the sunny state ofCalifornia.

This was super short, but think of it as an intro :) I rewrote it, because doing a whole story from Mark's POV is really challenging! I know it's a bit rubbish at the moment but I'll try and make it better! ;)
