Tom hadn't lied about their mum being excited – she enveloped us both in a hug when he arrived and she made me feel very welcome, to which I was very grateful.

"Tell me all your news at dinner – I thought you'd like your favourite on your first night, Mark." His mum smiled as she sat on the sofa in the living room with me and I stroked Lucy as she came over to sniff me, soon enjoying the attention and wagging her tail.

"Awesome! We'll get settled and be down soon." Mark smiled as Lucy's tail thumped against his legs and crouched down to scratch her head. "Is my puppy happy to see me?" I giggled as he spoke in his puppy-talk and Lucy wagged her tail furiously.

I watched as Mark continued to fuss over his dog. "I think this is our "settling"!" I mumbled to Mark's mum and she giggled, prompting Mark to look at us and stop what he was doing as Lucy nudged him to continue. "Are we actually going to go upstairs or is Lucy more important?" He brushed himself off and gave Lucy's head another scratch as he walked over to me.

"Yes, miss," He sighed and I pushed his shoulder slightly, giving him a bag. "We won't be long." He smiled as he took my hand and led me up the stairs. His mum called after us insisting it was fine and I was led into Mark's room, halting as I stood in the open door and looked around the room. "Are you okay?" He frowned and put his case on the bed.

"Just...this is the room where it all started – I'm stood in Markiplier's room!" I laughed and he turned to face me, raising his eyebrows as I composed myself and sat next to him.

He laughed and shook his head. "I really would prefer it if you didn't call me that," I looked sheepish and he kissed my cheek. "You're here as my girlfriend, not a fan." He paused and was about to say fiancé as I pulled him onto the bed.

"Oh, I didn't know you were taking back your proposal..." I bit my lip as I grabbed either side of his shirt and kissed his lips. "Move those suitcases." I mumbled as he kissed me back.

He pulled away and ran a hand through his hair. "Babe, we are at my mom's house," He shrugged and I bit my lip. "And I said we won't be long."

"You're twenty-eight years old, Mark," He locked the door while holding eye contact with me. "You're a big boy..." I tried to make this sound sexy, and cringed as I played it back in my head. "God, that didn't sound sexy at all! And that wasn't meant to be an innuendo-" Mark cut me off as he pressed his lips to mine and backed me against the wall as he crawled over me.

"I love the way you justify yourself in times like this," He chuckled and brushed my hair back. "You really don't need to try to be sexy." He breathed and captured my lips in a deep kiss, as I wrapped my hands around his neck. I closed my eyes as he started kissing down my neck and started to unbutton my shirt before my phone alerted me of a message. "Ignore it." He mumbled as he exposed my bra and ran his hands down my body.

"Mark, I can't," I muttered, breathlessly as I shrugged the shirt of my shoulders. "It's obviously important if it's gone off more than once."

"Well, tell me to stop..." He smirked and I shook my head on a smile, pressing my body to his and kissing him on the lips passionately. Pushing me backwards onto the bed, my hands found his hair and gently pulled, emitting a low grunt from him and causing him to quickly discard his shirt.

"Oh, for fuck's sake!" I grumbled as my phone rang and Mark had just began a trail of kisses from my collarbone done my body. I sat up quickly as I grabbed it off the table, biting my lip and trying not to laugh as I knocked Mark backwards. "Sorry!" I mouthed as I answered my phone. "Charlotte?"

Mark sat on the edge of the bed and rubbed his hands across his cheeks, pulling his shirt back on. I smiled dreamily as I watched his muscles flex as he moved and jumped as Charlotte began talking. "Yeah, hi Gee. Is this a bad time?" I laughed and I'm pretty sure she got the message. "Oh! Well, sorry to interrupt, but I did get a message from one of our friends on Twitter that you might want to know about."

"Is it that important? If it isn't, you really need to apologise to Mark." He stuck his tongue out at me as he unlocked the door and went downstairs to give me some privacy.

"Thanks for that, Gee," she laughed. "But, yeah, it's important. Well, she messaged me asking if I was friends with you, so I said yeah and then she just wrote that," She paused and I looked puzzled. "You need to watch your back."

I scoffed and shook my head. "Um, okay, I'll be sure to do that. I'll Skype you later, Char, I'm just at Mark's mum's." She apologised and said bye before I hung up and put my phone in my pocket.

"Everything okay?" Mark asked as I came downstairs. I nodded and he put his arm around my shoulders as I cuddled into him on the sofa.
