'TOMORROW! @markiplier' I tweeted on my account the day before I flew from Manchester to LA. Every single suitcase was packed, and I had left my hand luggage out to take things in and out as I needed them before I went. It was 8am in the morning, and I knew that I wouldn't be able to calm myself inside at work, not that I was bothered; I hadn't remained calm ever since we had planned my trip out there.

Much like when he came over, I booked a late flight to arrive in LAX in the morning, so I could spend the whole first day with him, and he had agreed to pick me up from the airport. He had been pre-recording a few videos the past couple of days, meaning he had only held short conversations with me recently, but they would always show his excitement for me coming over – the last time I had physically been in the same room as him was last month when he had come to Manchester, but that was still too long for me.

As I checked my bag before leaving for work, my phone notified me of interactions on my Twitter account. As I stepped outside and began my walk to work, I checked the notifications, the most important one being a retweet, favourite and mention from my boyfriend.

'@GeeWhiz_ Excited doesn't even cover it!! :D :D' The tweet had already hundreds of favourites and I was still receiving mentions about fans being hype and happy for us. I smiled to myself and replied to a few that stood out to me:

AbbyH_89 '@markiplier @GeeWhiz_ TAKE PHOTOS PLS I NEED THIS'

GeeWhiz_ '@AbbyH_89 @markiplier You know I will! :p'

Markimoostache___ '@markiplier @GeeWhiz_ you guys are so cute you're like my ultimate ship'

GeeWhiz_ '@markimoostache__ @markiplier But we're legit a ship, so we're like a DOUBLE SHIP!!!'

Lemontree62 '@markiplier @GeeWhiz_ Where's Babyplier??????? ;D'

GeeWhiz_ '@lemontree62 @markiplier NOT HERE!! I see the winky face that means you're joking, but I detect an element of truth! XD :p'

Markpai- '@markiplier @GeeWhiz_ I still haven't thought of a ship name for you two!!! Help me out?'

GeeWhiz_ '@markpai- @markiplier Oh, there's no going back now, we're officially being shipped! Moone is my last name so I refer to us as Markimoone ;)'

I sighed to myself and got up off the bench I had stopped by to tweet, as I couldn't easily walk and type; at this rate, I'd never get to work, so I hitched my bag up on my shoulder and continued walking, putting in my headphones and turning on my iPod.

I stretched as the pilot announced we were soon to be landing; the announcement having woke me up. I was still tired, but I couldn't help but smile every so often as I thought about my long awaited meeting with my boyfriend. I picked up my teddy from the floor and adjusted my seatbelt – I had fallen asleep too soon for me to bother unbuckling it.

As we began our descent, the butterflies in my stomach that had since settled started to rise again, and I had to bite my lip to stop from grinning like an idiot in public. Time seemed to go so slowly, and I was getting more frustrated by the minute, so much so that I began to bob one of my legs up and down.

"Are you okay?" The passenger next to me asked me, who was American and flying back home from visiting her friend – I had managed to talk to her before I fell asleep.

"I'm fine," I laughed and felt my cheeks begin to ache from the smile on my face. "I'm just excited to see him again!" I had mentioned earlier that I was going to see my boyfriend for our anniversary, but not that he happened to be a famous YouTuber.

She smiled back and placed her hand on my thigh to steady me. "I understand; it can't be easy maintaining a long-distance relationship." I frowned at her slightly before she continued. "What I mean is, being apart for so long can't be easy – I know that I'd find it difficult!"

I nodded. "It's okay, I figured that's what you meant," I sighed and settled myself. "I suppose it makes meeting so much better though, just because you've been apart..."

"Of course! Always be optimistic, that's how you make it work! Three years long-distance is impressive, though, so congratulations to you both...well, you know what I mean!"

I laughed. "Yeah, yeah, I get you. Thank you very much; I'll tell him you said that! I didn't catch your name before though, sorry..."

"It's Alex, and yours?" She smiled and stretched herself. "Wow, some formal greeters we are!" She laughed.

"It's Georgia," I shook her hand. "Thanks for keeping me sane until I fell asleep on you – I don't think I could have been alone with my jumbled thoughts for this long!"

"No worries, and have a great time!" She smiled as the plane touched on the runway. "I doubt I'll see you again, but it was great to meet you!"

I nodded as the plane came to a gradual halt. "You too, Alex!" As the plane found its stop, she unbuckled her belt and reached up to grab her hand luggage from the overhead cabinet. "I'm gonna wait until more people get off." I smiled when Alex gave me a questioning look before joining the bustle of passengers leaving the plane.

I waited until around half the passengers had exited the plane before standing up to grab my bag from the overhead cabinet, and shoving the few belongings around me into it. As I neared the steps to get off the plane, I felt my legs begin to shake slightly, and that excited sickness rise in my throat again. I put on my sunglasses and carefully picked my way down the stairs, yawning regularly and trying to look calm as I approached one of the entrances to the airport. Mark had agreed to wait for me near baggage claim, and I practically skipped through the necessary passport checks as I made my way over.

Spotting Mark with his headphones on, sat on a bench, I raised my hand to my mouth and felt my eyes begin to water, nearly dropping my bag. Mark was too consumed in his music to spot me from this far away, but as I got closer and he saw me, his eyes sparkled and he placed his headphones around his neck – his music still playing – as he made his way over to me, enveloping me in the biggest hug he could muster.

"I've missed you so damn much!" He kissed me on the lips, and I smiled as I saw tears in his eyes. I smiled and bit my lip as I hugged him again, getting lifted off the ground and spun around for what felt like five minutes before he eventually put me down and he took my hand and led me to collect my suitcases.

Too overcome with emotion to say how I felt at that moment, I stood close to Mark as he collected my bags for me and we began to walk towards the car park after we had received both of the rather large cases.

"What's the matter?" He smiled, standing with his hands on his hips as he shut the trunk of his car. "Is someone a little too overcome with emotion?" He jested, poking me as I batted his hands away, trying to hide my smile. I nodded, embarrassed, and got a surprise as Mark picked me up again, holding me level with his eyes. Without saying anything, he pressed his lips to mine gently, allowing me to express my love for him through my kiss, almost forgetting that we were still in public. As he put me back down, I shook my head, a little dizzy.

"Wow," I breathed, and sighed. "I don't think I can put it into words, but I'm pretty sure you've guessed how I feel." He gave me his cute lop-sided smile and kissed my knuckles as he held both my hands in his, before we got into the car and he started it up.

"Cuddles at mine?" He asked me with a wink as he backed out of the parking space.

I closed my eyes, satisfied with the thought. "You don't know how long I've waited for that to come true again."
