Makayla's POV

As the words came from his lips, the blue eyed boy looked at me hopefully.

What were we going to do?

I grabbed my phone, hoodie, and climbed out of my window, then jumped down.

He held his hand out once I had reached the wet grass, and I took his large hand in my small one for what seemed like the thousandth time.

Letting out a small smile, we began to walk down my driveway, and I saw a van sitting in front of my house.

Hayes nodded his head towards the familiar car and he and I walked over to it; getting into the backseat.

I saw a head of brown hair in the front, but was unable to see his face.

Nash's face appeared and I smiled at him.

"Hey." He stated simply, but paused lightly.

"Hello Hamilton." I smirked, and watched as he slightly laughed shaking his head.

"I have someone I want you to meet." He said, then I saw a familiar face pop up as they turned around.

"Cameron?" I questioned.

"Makayla?" He responded.

Then I saw two hands waving around in the air.

"Hold up- you two know eachother?" Hayes spat lightly, a touch of venom in his voice.

"Yeah, we bumped into eachother once." Cameron said.

"Oh." Hayes let out; then put his hand to his side.

"Yeah...." I responded to his awkward reaction.

We sat in the car for a moment before Nash started it; and we sat in silence, but comfortable silence.

"Where exactly are we going?" I questioned.

"An adventure; like Hayes told you." Nash responded.

"Yeah, but where..?" I asked.

"Everywhere." He plainly stated.

I nodded my head confused, and placed my hands to my side comfortably.

A few minutes passed before I felt Hayes slide his hand into mine, intertwining our fingers.

I blushed slightly, then smiled to myself at the fact this boy might possibly be mine again.

But thats a thought; a thought that might not ever be true or come to reality.

I saw movement up front, and soon the flash of a phone was being pointed at Hayes and I in the backseat.

Immediately I started laughing at the flash because it was the morning and I was at the point where I laughed at anything.

Once I started laughing, Hayes joined in showing his white smile and the flash stopped because the photo had been taken apparently.

Taking my phone out, I went onto snapchat and went onto the 'add friends' section.

"tell me your snapchats!" I demanded; waiting for a reply.

They all replied at once and I typed in their usernames, getting an add back almost immediately.

I clicked on their stories and saw that Cameron had posted the picture of us laughing, to his story, so I screenshotted it.

Cropping the picture so it had a white border, I tweeted it on twitter saying 'hayess,' not knowing what else to put.

I saw that Hayes retweeted it and my phone started buzzing immediately from all the notifications.

Turning my ringer off, I exited out of twitter and went onto instagram.

I felt the car slowly stop so I turned my phone off, waiting for the car to fully stop.

Grabbing my maroon hoodie, I lifted it over my head and smiled at the smell of his cologne still lingering from it thought it had been washed over and over again.

Once I climbed out the car I didn't notice where we were.

My eyebrows scrunched together as I looked at Hayes questioningly, and he just grabbed my hand, once again intertwining our fingers.

Nash and Cameron led the way as we made our way up a rocky path, then stopping at a house.

I heard the doorknob twist and the door swung open revealing two boys, and two girls.

"Hey guys." The guy with blonde hair greeted.

Nash greeted him back and turned to face me.

"This," he paused, "is Jack Johnson." He pointed to the blonde hair boy.

He then moved to his right revealing a girl about my height with light brown hair.

"This is Kendall; Jack Johnson's girlfriend." He  finished.

I nodded, smiling at the girl that stood in front of me.

Before Nash could move over, a guy with brown hair made his way over to me.

"I'm Jack Gilinsky." He smiled brightly, revealing perfectly white teeth.

He then hugged me and I awkwardly hugged back as I watched the other girl shift uncomfortably behind him.

"This is my girlfriend Vanessa." He stated after pulling away from the hug, walking towards her and placing his arm around her.

I smiled at the cute couples as I awkwardly stood next to Hayes, wondering what I should say.

We weren't dating, I wasn't his girlfriend. I was basically the other option in the answer to the question being asked after all the answers were written; I was an extra, out of place.

"So what are we doing, just standing here?" Vanessa sarcastically asked, and I let out a chuckle.

"Lets go I guess." Cameron replied.

I smiled as we walked back to the van, though Hayes didn't hold my hand this time.

After climbing into the very backseat of the van, Hayes appeared next to me next to him was Jack Gilinsky.

I looked at the row of seats ahead of us to see Kendall on Jack Johnson's lap, due to no more seats available.

Vanessa looked over at me and made a gagging motion, pointing towards Kendall on his lap.

I laughed and everybody stared at me, causing me to awkwardly stop.

As Nash started the van, silence filled the van; moments later Nash broke it as he spoke.

"Now, time for the adventure to begin."
