chapter two : a dept to repay

I watched as Rikard scrubbed at the deck with the vinegar I smiled as he side glanced me his hazel eyes intensified into a forbidding stare as he began muttering what I thought to be curses under his breath which made me smile more

"that one there" he said pointing to Gallent "what did he do?"

"he rowed" I told Limerick

"and that one?" he asked pointing to Neon

"he climbs up to the top of the mast and I think he was the cabin boy at one stage" I said

"and that one?" asked Limerick pointing to Rikard

"he's the captain" I said distastefully

but my stomach churned with nervousness Limericks eyes narrowed

"was he the one who invaded this ship and took you by force?" he growled not caring for the people who could hear him below I saw Rikard shoot me a worried glance as he stopped scrubbing Neon shot me a look along with Gallent I shook my head

"no he was elected to be captain after the first captain died" I said quickly as Limerick reached for his sword

"okay" he said

pushing himself off the railing and down the stairs I sighed happily and Rikard continued to scrub a small smile tugged at his lips

"just dodged a bullet" I told myself

as I looked to Rikard with narrow eyes

"this doesn't change anything you grumpy old bastard" I told him angrily

and he shot me an angry look and Gallants face was over taken with a smile

it's been about three weeks and I guess I'm counting down to my birthday that's in another three weeks. I was leaning against the railing when I heard the stairs creek I turned slightly to see Limerick approaching Ashley who was pointing away much like I did and he gave her a hug from behind I turned looking away from them my arms crossed over my chest my cheeks began to burn with jealousy until I felt him wrap his arms around my waist he kissed my neck

"lets take this some where quiet" he whispered in my ear

he grabbed my hand and lead me below deck to his private chambers where he closed the door and walked up to me he grabbed my arm and pulled me towards him and kissed me but .............. during these situations my insides would be jumping up and down but my feelings were neutral I think after all that I have been through all that had happened I guess coming back on to the Dragon Fly I didn't know what I was going to expect but I do know one thing my feelings for Limerick have changed and I guess I love another and I know who that other is

I leaned against the railing listening to the sea my mind was some where else. I didn't want to be on the Dragon Fly any more since my little run in with Limerick just a few days back. we had a huge argument and he has not come to see me at all and I kind of enjoyed the solitude. On the Hawk they gave me space the only people who came up were Neon and Rikard on the Dragon Fly every one came up. I leaned over the railing my focus was on the horizon where a faint black line had started to appear and had gradually got bigger it was only until we got closer did I notice it was an island and as we progressed even closer I started to notice it was not just any random island it was Alacue island

as we all got off the Dragon Fly and progressed down the dock and onto the shore we all stood there slightly confused then Limerick came down and pointed to a ship that had been docked near by and it looked strangely like the Hawk it was only when we took a closer look we found that it was the Hawk
