after a few day I was ready to travel again. we boarded the hawk smiling I still had my bandages and my chest still hurt the doctor had told me

flash back-

rikard hovered behind me as the doctor continued talking to me taking no notice of the nosy and presently over caring rikard at all

"you need to take it easy while you heal" he told me

I laughed in his face and he raised an eye brow

"like that's going to happen" I told him

and he only smiled looking to rikard

"could you leave us alone for a minute" he asked

rikard nodded his head giving me a fleeting glance as he left the room the doctor took my arm after making sure rikard was gone

"miss there's something you need to know"

I had assigned the duties to the kingdom to Gray making sure he promised to rule fairly I rested against the railing and yawned every one was on but we did not cast off rikard came up to me grabbed my hand and took me to the mast where the crew were busy at work refilling barrels of fresh water and making sure that the ship had enough edible food. then Rikard stopped and cleared his throat making every one stop what they were doing and pay attention Rikard turned to me a look of determination on his face his right hand was clenched tightly the crew were looking on smiles on their faces and what came next took my breath away

"angel?" he ventured gaining my attention

I looked up slowly to meet his gaze his face flashed red as he looked to the ground

"I like you a lot" he stated

every one chuckled and I smirked he glared at ever one and their mischievous smiles dropped from their faces

"and well" he started "you make me angry and immature you make it hard for me to keep control of myself"

I saw some of the crew slowly nod as I looked around

"but I'm ready to change for you ... for us if that's what it takes so"

"oh god" I thought "he's not going too"

he went down on a knee and produced a black velvet box with a blue ring

"will you marry me?" He asked

he still bored the look of determination and a straight face

I was lost for words I took a step back bumping into the mast I looked around the crew whose smiles could travel all around the known oceans even Neon seemed happy for me my mouth gaped open

"I um I ahh um I............. Rikard ......I can't ..... you can't ..... I....." I stammered

then the chanting began "say yes say yes say yes" they all cheered in unison

they all stamped there feet in time with one another and I stood there for five whole minutes and in that time Rikards determined face began to vanish and the chanting soon stopped I opened and closed my mouth like a gold fish

"even if you say no" he began "I'm still going to keep asking I've fallen for you Angel and I have fallen hard and I'm just going to keep falling over and over and over again and I just need someone like you to catch me" he murmured the last part so only I could hear

he kept staring at me and my heart fluttered but I couldn't a man like this wasn't suppose to be held down not by any one especially me at this one moment I forgot everything that had happened over the last few weeks and focus on that sparkling blue ring the simple thing that would change my life forever ... this was such a hard decision! I closed my eyes feeling tears brim them I looked away he sighed and I heard he begin to rise to his feet I heard unhappy groans
