Wonderland
I stumble,
While running away,
From the monsters,
In Wonderland.
Soon they’ll catch up
Destroy my future
Utter the words,
“Behead her”.
The beasts are nearing,
The edge of this field.
I push up,
From the dying grass.
Once lush,
And green.
This isn’t Wonderland
This is a nightmare
Down the rabbit hole,
Through the woods,
It was for me,
Earlier
Before I knew it meant,
Death.
I believe in Wonderland
I believe in this
I believe in death,
Without a life afterwards.
You, the rabbit,
Helped Alice escape,
But no, not me,
Never me.
So I will die
Me, the sacrifice.
I stumble,
While running away,
From the monsters,
In Wonderland.
Now, I die.
For sure, they have me.
I struggle,
As they lift me,
Off of the ground.
I can’t imagine the pain,
To come.
To soon, please,
Dear rabbit, save me.
Not now, Not then,
Never.
You hate me.
You all despise me.
Don’t you?
So go ahead,
Cut me up,
Kill me,
For dinner.
Monsters!
Take me away,
From Wonderland,
Where she survives,
Thrives,
As queen,
And me, the simple servant,
Who disobeyed.
