He woke up with a start. He tried sitting up but found a weight on his chest. He opened his eyes to find a child sitting on his chest. The child smiled down at him brightly.

"Sebastian! What is the meaning of this?!"

The child, jumped off his chest and back flipped lightly and gracefully onto the bed canopy.

"Get down from there before you break it?! Damn brat, stop causing so much trouble!"

The child giggled, "You are as happy as always, not-so-young young master." He jumped off the canopy and landed at the side of the bed. The child leaned over and ruffled his hair, "Why so angry this time, Ciel? Another nightmare?"

Ciel glared at the child, "Can you serve me the tea, see if you are at least useful at doing that?"

The child nodded and with shaky hands served him the tea. He handed the cup over to Ciel with a proud smile.

Ciel glared as a few drops fell onto his lap, "What a troublesome child. Have you learned nothing over the many years about being a butler, Sebastian?"

The child, Sebastian, pouted, "You can be quite offensive." He handed Ciel over a fruit tart.

Ciel eyed the sweet, "You can make good sweets. I'll give you that."

Sebastian giggled, "You may look grown up, but you are still the same child I saved." Sebastian kissed Ciel's cheek. He whispered, "It's okay. You are free now. I saved you from the cage. I may be small, but you're still my master. I will protect you." He gave Ciel a small smile before skipping away.

Ciel blushed and quietly shoved the tart into his mouth. He chewed on it quietly as Sebastian trotted back in holding Ciel's clothes. Sebastian let Ciel finish off the tart before beginning to remove Ciel's clothes. The child looked up at Ciel confused, "Bocchan?"

Ciel looked down at Sebastian buttoning his clean shirt, "Yes?"

"You're judging me for not being able to become a better butler in all these years, but, in all these years, you still have not learned to button your shirt."

Ciel lifted his chin, so Sebastian could tie the ribbon around his neck. "That is because it's your job."

Sebastian huffed frustrated, "This is child labor."

Ciel let out a hushed laugh, "You are over a thousand years old."

Sebastian glared at Ciel. He gathered the dishes onto the cart after he finished dressing Ciel. He pushed it out to the door with struggle, and Ciel sighed at the sight.

Once out the door, Sebastian began to build speed. Ciel yelled after him, "Don't run in here! We have enough broken dishes with Mey-Rin!"

Sebastian yelled back from down the hall, "I am only rushing to get things done on time, like a good butler!"

Ciel wiped a hand over his face and muttered to himself, "How was I stuck with such an incompetent demon?"

Moments later, Sebastian ran back into the room with something in his small hand. He jumped onto the bed and crawled over to Ciel. He wrapped the eye patch he had been holding in his hand around Ciel's eye. He tied it firmly and giggled, "I almost forgot, again."

"You forgot multiple things. You are all over the place constantly like some damn squirrel." Ciel pinched the bridge of his nose frustrated.

Sebastian scratched at his cheek embarrassed and sat next to Ciel. He looked at his hands in his lap as he spoke, "I am sorry, my lord. I would not be this way if I wasn't stuck in this child form."-Sebastian looked at his hands fidgeting on his lap-"Since I am stuck as a child, the child's mind takes over most of the time."

Ciel sighed and stood, "I know. Sebastian, just try to be more in order. What are the plans for today?"

Sebastian bit his lip and looked up at the ceiling trying to remember, "You have to go over extension plans for the Funtom Company. You have a meeting with some diamond, jewel, company owner person that wants to merge. I don't think the Queen has sent any new cases."

Ciel placed a hand on Sebastian's head, "Good butler boy."

Sebastian smiled happily and hopped off the bed to begin fixing it. While Sebastian was always all over the place, he somehow managed to get everything done and did everything fast. Of course, Ciel blamed this on the fact Sebastian was so hyperactive.

When it was three in the afternoon, there came a knock on the door. Sebastian eagerly went to go open it. He opened the door for the guest and bowed, like a butler should. Holding the bow, he politely greeted, "Good afterno-"

Sebastian was tackled into a hug. A high pitched voice whined out, "Ooh, Sebastian! You are sooo cute!"

Sebastian pulled away with a noticeable shudder, "Oh, Lady Elizabeth. Hello. I will inform the Earl you are here." Sebastian closed the door and quickly rushed off to find Ciel. He was going to be so dead, when he told Ciel.

Ciel was in his study. Sebastian walked in reluctantly. The moment Ciel saw Sebastian lingering, he sighed, "What did you do this time?"

Sebastian smiled innocently, "What could you possibly mean, my lord?"

"Sebastian..."Ciel warned.

Sebastian walked into the study. He stood in front of Ciel's large desk but looked at his small feet, "Remember how I said you had a meeting with a diamond company owner, or something?"

Ciel leaned back in his chair and turned away from him, "Yes, what about it?"

Sebastian looked at the back of Ciel's chair. He remained silent.

Ciel spun around, "Did you mix the meeting dates again?"

Sebastian shook his head and looked at his feet again, "No, you are meeting a diamond and jewelry company owner, but you are not discussing merging."

Ciel took a deep breath, "Then, what is it we are discussing?"

"Diamond rings. Lady Elizabeth is waiting for you downstairs..."
