Ciel returned to the mansion alone. Sebastian eagerly went to his side and took Ciel's coat and hat from him. Ciel patted Sebastian on the head in return. Sebastian smiled up at Ciel as he trudged by his side. He followed Ciel up the stairs, careful not to drag the coat on the floor. Sebastian looked back to make sure Lizzie really didn't come back. Ciel noticed and looked down at Sebastian from the corner of his eye, "You dislike her that much?"

"Huh?" Sebastian looked back up at Ciel confused. "Oh... No, it's not that. I was just curious that you two were able to settle the issue so fast."

Ciel continued up the stairs without glancing at Sebastian as he spoke, "Well, it is resolved, and I decided to head back before her."

Sebastian nodded, "So, she is coming?"

Ciel grinned evily, "She is my fiancé, weren't you trying to establish that with me earlier? What's with the sudden change of attitude?"

Sebastian shook his head and put on a placid face, "I am sorry. You are right. I will make sure to tend to her once she arrives."

Ciel nodded, "Good butler."

Sebastian hung the coat and hat in Ciel's room, while Ciel headed to his study. When Sebastian had organized the things, he went to Ciel. He looked at Ciel, "How long did she give you this time?"

Ciel opened his mouth to respond, when the door to his study burst open. Lizzie came rushing in. She shoved her left hand in Ciel's face and waved it about. She gushed, "Look, Ciel! I found it! Isn't it beautiful?! I finally managed to choose one!"

Ciel pulled away and turned away, "Very good. I'm glad you were able to find one you liked. I'll pay for it later."

Lizzie cooed and gazed at the ring with its big shining diamond, "It is so beautiful. I can't believe I finally get to marry Ciel. Look at the ring, Sebastian. Can you believe it."

Sebastian had watched the whole scene unfold quietly. He was frozen with shock. He shook his head and blinked before finally managing out a smile to Lizzie. "I see," he said in a sweet tone. "I am very happy for you, Miss Elizabeth."

Lizzie's eyes widened and her jaw fell, "Oh my! Pretty soon I will be Misses Phantomhive!"

Ciel was looking out the window. He had not been paying attention for the past while. Sebastian gave Lizzie another smile, "Excuse me. I have to attend to some things."

Lizzie was too busy going on about her ring to notice, and Ciel was too busy spacing out to notice either. Quietly, Sebastian left the room and set off to do his chores.

Sebastian was kept busy the whole day. The manor was in a buzz with Lizzie running around. On a normal day, there was always some kind of destruction, but with all the craze the manor had been thrown into the manor was in danger. Baldroy had broke down two walls, Finnian had torn up the gardens and smashed two staues, and Mey-Rin, with a startle from Lizzie, broke a whole dish set.

Sebastian not only had to fix their disasters, but tend to both Ciel and Lizzie. By the end of the day, Sebastian was tired and barely on schedule. Once he set Ciel to bed, he left to change into his nightgown.

He wandered about the manor for hours without a purpose. He walked through the whole manor multiple times before he finally came to a stop at Ciel's study. Sebastian had passed it multiple times during his walking, but now he stood in front of the closed door. He opened the door slowly and stepped inside. Sebastian shut the door behind him as he walked over to Ciel's desk. He stood behind Ciel's desk and pushed Ciel's big chair away. He went down on his hands and knees then crawled under the desk.

Sebastian sat under the desk and hugged his knees to his chest. He sat there in silence and looked out the window. He watched the moon as it shone brightly in the night sky. Sebastian sat there quietly for hours just watching the moon and thinking, like he had done so many times before. But that had been long ago, before Ciel had grown up.

Before Ciel decided there was no more postponing a wedding.

He looked over to his left side and smiled at the memory of a pale skinned ash-blue haired boy. He wondered how long ago had it been since they last sat together in secret. He let a whisper of a laugh escape at the memory of when Tanaka caught them sneaking through the halls once. Sebastian grew quiet once more and looked at the moon again.

He remembered it all like it had happened just the week before, but it had been years. Years since Ciel and him last shared Ciel's bed. It had been years since Ciel had last kissed him randomly and sweetly.

Sebastian shook his head and crawled out from under the desk. He set the chair back and left the room. He walked down the hall and to Ciel's room. He opened the door without making a noise. He looked at Ciel soundly asleep in his bed.

Sebastian could hear his quiet snoring. How long before Lizzie shares that bed they once shared?

He closed the door again and then finally went off to his own bed.

Back in his room, Ciel opened his eyes sleepily. He frowned and groped at the bed next to him. He had forgotten again. Ciel sighed and turned away from the door. He wrapped the blanket closer to him and went back to sleep as stared at the covered window.
