A/N: Okay so hello to all of you. (Yes I know the pic is Ciel crying not Sebastian just hush) I hope you are enjoying this story. Call me Daliro. It means danger because I'm dangerous, babe. *winks* No but seriously, feel free to ask me anything. This is a shorter chapter, I'm sorry. I also don't know if I'll be posting as often as I have been. I kind of lost my inspiration last night. I won't be canceling the story though. I will try updating every other day. Anyway, enjoy!

Ciel lost track of time listening to Sebastian sing as he swung. His vision wasn't focused, but he wasn't thinking of anything else.

Suddenly and without notice, Sebastian stopped singing mid-note. Ciel looked at Sebastian, but Sebastian was looking down at his lap as he trembled. The breeze had stopped, and there was there was no other noise. It was as if the whole world was holding its breath. As if the shadows that rested in the trees were waiting for something to happen.

Sebastian looked up after a while. He looked through the clearing up at the moon. His hand lifted weakly and then dropped. A broken smile twisted onto his lips. His head fell once more and again the world held its breath.

Ciel watched him. He expected him to jump off and go home, but he just sat there on the swing like a broken abandoned toy. Ciel fidgeted and waited for something to happen. Anything. To Ciel, it didn't matter what, as long as he didn't have to see the sorry scene in front of him.

A couple moments more and Ciel shook his head. He made his way through the grass and to the swing. Sebastian still sat there limp. Ciel stood in front of Sebastian, but Sebastian still wouldn't look up. When Ciel placed a hand on Sebastian's shoulder, Sebastian looked up at Ciel startled.

Ciel gave Sebastian a small smile, "Lost in thought."

Sebastian nodded, "Sorry. You shouldn't be out here, my lord. It is dangerous."

"Why is a nine-year-old out here then?"

Sebastian sighed, "I've told you, I only look nine."

"Ah yes, I forget you're thousands of years old, when you act like such a brat."

Sebastian looked down at his lap again and didn't respond.

Ciel ruffled Sebastian's hair, "Let's go home."

Sebastian didn't get up and still didn't respond.

Ciel sighed, "At least share our swing."

Ciel picked Sebastian up and held him in his lap as he sat on the swing. He pushed the swing lightly with his feet, "It's still our swing, right?"

Sebastian tensed up in his arms, but he nodded.

Ciel tsked, "See and you question why I don't like cats. Shall we go catch that damn cat and tell him to give you back your tongue?"

Sebastian turned his face into Ciel's chest. Ciel stroked Sebastian's long hair. They sat like that for a long while. Sebastian tense but cuddled into Ciel. Ciel stroking Sebastian's hair with an unnatural ache to his chest.

"Why..?" Sebastian's question came quietly and out of nowhere.

Ciel looked down at Sebastian, "What do you me-"

Sebastian jumped out of Ciel's arms. "Why are you marrying Lizzie?! I don't want you to marry her?!" Sebastian's angry yelling broke the silence.

The world burst into a sudden deep breath and began to move, and it moved too fast.

Ciel reached for Sebastian, but Sebastian only jumped back. Ciel reached for him again, "Sebastian..."

Sebastian shook his head stubbornly, "The contract was I would become someone you could be with and trust, whilst I aided you in your quest for revenge! Someone who'd be with you until the end, but you left me!"

Ciel tried to get close to the angry Sebastian, but Sebastian glared at him and ran away. Ciel ran after him through the trees. Sebastian wasn't running fast; the whole time he remained in Ciel's sight. Ciel was able to keep close, but Sebastian made sure to stay out of reach.

Eventually, Ciel tumbled into a clearing. That's when Ciel realized, Sebastian had led him out of the trees. Sebastian may have been mad, but he knew that Ciel wouldn't have been able to go back. Sebastian in all his anger and sadness had still cared for Ciel.

Ciel ran into the manor hoping to find Sebastian somewhere inside. He went to Sebastian's room, but didn't find him there. He checked in the living room and main hall and dining room. He didn't find him. He went down every hall and checked almost all the rooms.

An hour of searching was useless. Ciel could find no sign of Sebastian. He knew that finding Sebastian would be impossible at this point. So Ciel went to his own room, and he collapsed onto his bed. He fell asleep almost instantly. He was still dressed in his clothes with his half his body hanging off the bed.

Meanwhile, Sebastian hid in the only room Ciel had not checked. In the memory Ciel apparently did not remember. Sebastian hid in the study under the desk, watching the moon. His hand placed on the floor next to him; the other reaching for the moon.
