Ch. 2 What's a Messiah?

While Chris Joy and Gizmo were in the Superbook Vortex, Superbook spoke to them "I am taking you to meet a true King-Son of God." Then Superbook dropped Chris Joy and Gizmo down from the sky falling into hay which made Gizmo dizzy. Then Gizmo got up, he was dizzy "Camp town robots sing this song, du-dah du-dah! Uhhh....",then Joy and Chris got up and Joy shook Gizmo and said "Giz, can you tell us where and when we are?" Then Gizmo shook his head and wasn't dizzy anymore, and he got his head up high and used his geo sensors to find where and when they are "My geo sensors indicated we are in Bethany, a small town that's a couple miles from Jerusalem. And it appears that someone is having quite a crowd. (gizmo takes out a speaker) Here! Listen in." Then Chris and Joy listened closely and they heard Peter talking and he said "Yes,yes gather around. My friend and teacher,Jesus is the Messiah." Then Chris asked "What's a Messiah?" and Gizmo answered "A Messiah is Greek,Hebrew Latin for 'The Chosen One', a King anointed by God, who would one day be the Greatest King of all." And when Chris heard that Jesus was also King, Chris said "Great, this Guy hangs with royalty, and these are my people." and once again Joy was confused and she asked "Your people? Slow down Chris, this is first century Jerusalem, we don't know anybody here.". So Gizmo got out a scanner and said "I'll check the first century 'who's who'. (Gizmo's scanner finds Simon Peter) It appears that that man is Simon Peter! He is a disciple of Jesus of Nazareth. And Jesus is about to become famous, the whole world will know Him!" Then Chris Joy and Gizmo were excited and they ran to Peter and the crowd to come closer and hear them. Peter was talking to the crowd about how Jesus walked on water "Then the boat began to drown and I realized that nothing was there to keep me afloat..." then Chris came helped with one of the baskets Peter was carrying and said "Here, let me help you Peter." and Chris gave one basket to Joy and Peter said "Oh, thank you..." and Chris answered "No problem." and Chris got the second basket and gave it to Joy again which made it heavy for her to carry. Then Peter continued to the crowd "Then Jesus reached His hand to help me and there I stood with Him, right there on the water itself." When the crowd heard about this they were amazed. "You must come and listen to His teachings, He is our way to salvation." Peter said, "Lead the way Peter" Chris said and he went with Peter, "Don't worry, my assistants will carry the baskets. I can't wait to meet a Man who walks on water". Then Joy got mad at Chris and was having a hard time carrying the baskets so Gizmo carried one for her and then Joy said "And I can't wait for you to lose and get back to being yourself" she said as if she was saying it to Chris, and Joy and Gizmo followed.
