It had been two days since the last family chaos in the mansion. Two days since everyone had laughed together. Two days since the house had felt a little lighter.

But for Yash, Shub, Shrey and Mayank, those two days had become too boring.
The mansion was too quiet. Too safe. Too full of rules. Too full of bodyguards. Too full of people telling them to rest, eat, sleep, behave.

And that was exactly why the four of them were now sitting in one corner of the lounge at midnight, whispering like criminals.

Yash looked around first, then leaned closer.
Yash- I am going out.

Shub blinked.
Shub- Where?

Shrey crossed his arms.
Shrey- If you say shopping, I am not coming.

Mayank yawned.
Mayank- Downtown.

Yash smiled.
Yash- Car racing.

All four looked at each other. Then all four grinned. Because that was exactly the kind of stupid idea they needed.

Shub rubbed his hands together.
Shub- I am in.

Shrey nodded.
Shrey- Same.

Mayank smiled.
Mayank- I was born ready.

Yash pointed toward the dark hallway.
Yash- Then get ready. We leave in ten minutes.

And just like that, the plan was made.
One by one, they went back to their rooms like nothing was happening.

The mansion was silent.

Too silent.

Yash opened his eyes first. He was lying beside Sanju, who was sleeping deeply with one arm stretched out on the bed. Yash stared at him for a second, then slowly smiled.

Sorry, Sanju.

Very softly, he moved out of the blanket and placed a pillow in his place. Then he pulled the blanket over the pillow so it looked like someone was still sleeping there.

He held his breath. Sanju did not move. Yash slowly got down from the bed, picked up his shoes, and walked on tiptoe toward the back door.

One step.
Two steps.
Three steps.

Then he was gone.

In another room,

Shub opened his eyes and immediately froze.
Abhi's muscular arm was wrapped tightly around his waist. His face was buried near Shub's shoulder, sleeping peacefully. Shub stared at him for a second and sighed.

This man.

Shub tried to move his body a little. Abhi's hold tightened instantly. Shub blinked.

Shub whispered softly.
Shub- I need water.

Abhi did not open his eyes. He only shifted a little and loosened his hold for a second. That was enough.
Shub carefully slipped out of the bed, fixed his shirt, changed into dark clothes, and quietly walked out of the room before Abhi could wake up properly.

In the balcony room,

Shrey was sitting near the glass door with Rishab sleeping on the bed inside. The night air was cool, and Shrey pretended to enjoy it for a few seconds.
