Jade POV

Due to the fact that our hearing obly began the next day. We all had to spend the evening in an prison cell.

It was so diffrent from what we expected, well we didn't expect to be welcomed with open arms, but we all didn't expect to be put into prison.

I stared at the wall of my cell and started to think about my future.
It is not like we had much of a future right know but I tried to imagine what I thought my future to br like.

Back at Erudite I always imagined that I would work as a librarian, find myself a nice and smart man, marry, have a few kids and then die of old age.

When I transfered to Dauntless and meet Eric I liked to imagine that I would end up single or maybe with an boyfriend and die through drowning in the Chasm ir something else like that.

But never did I imagined it to be like that running away from Jeanine always thinking that this day could be your last that you could spend alive with Eric at your side. It was absolutly horrible.

Then finally I drifted off into sleep with dreams of the future that could have been mine.

I awoke with a start when I hears the guards banging on my door. I stood up and tried to tame my hair into a messy bun, it turned out to be a messy messy bun.

Sighing at my stupid hair I decided to leave it that way and went to the guards. We walked to an auditorium or something. Jack Chang stood in the mid of it and started to speak: "You are know getting your hearing. Jade Simmons you are starting."

I qalked into some sort of glass room and they injected me with the theuth serum.
I shuddered and then instantly relaxed I knew I had no choice vut to tell the truth.

"Are you Jade Simmons?", someone asked. I answered the question with an yes and the man continiued.

"What did you do during the attack on Abnegtion?"

"At first I tried to follow Jeaninne's Plans as longas it was compatible with my morals. But after a bit of time, I started to realize that her Plan would never fit with my beliefs of right and wrong, so I went to talk to Eric and we started to plan how to stop her without getting ourselfs killed."

"You mentioned Eric Mathews. What exactly is your connection to him?", Chang asked me.

I looked at Eric for a Moment and began to speak while still looking at him.

"I knew Eric since before my Initiation. He was the Guy from Erudite that everyone wanted to be or to be with. He was an year over me in school and he was always sitting next to me at lunch. When I transferred to Dauntless I snapped at him because I became angry at him for being useless as I put it. We became Friends soon after that, the feelings we had for each other were getting stronger and deeper. And last year we admitted it to each other. Thats when I truly realised that I was in love with him. Now I am so much in love with him I believe I couldn't be thr same without him he helps me stay me and stay happy. He is something like my anchpr to the world and i love him with al of my being."

They let me from the stage and Eric started to question him.

"Are you Eric Mathews, Son of Jeaninne and Mark Mathews?"

Eric nodded shortly and his jaw was set in an firm line again.

"Funny, because Jeaninne was never pregnant."
