Chapter 5

I started to become conscious again very slowly though...As I start to wake up i can hear all my friends talking... I can't really help but wonder what Robert and William are doing... I don't hear them in the mixture of voices. "Hey... Guys! She's waking up..." I hear peter say. I open my eyes finally. "What... What happened?.." I say in a bit of a daze still. "Joyce... Are you OK? You feeling OK? Do you need anything?" Robert says and kinda sounds like he is panicking. its kinda... cute. All my friends look to me and i smile at all of them.  "Kids..its time to go...visiting hours are through" Says a nurse who walks in. They look to me. "Guys...its OK...go get rest...I'm sure you need it" I smile at them all. Robert comes and hugs me...I hesitate to hug back. they leave and the next day I get to go home.

At Home...

"Joyous princess?! I have something for you to do....so come here...NOW" My dad yells for me so I go back to the living room. "Yes Dad..." I say staring at him. "Listen to me I have a plan...its to finally get rid of batman...it doesn't involve hurting him... just someone he loves..." He explains the plan to me.  "Dad...No...I won't hurt either of them...I would never hurt them...Dad please....Get a Heart! Don't try and make me do these horrible things! I'm not like you!" I yell at him. "Fine..." He turns around and starts to walk away. He then turns around and grabs me by my hair...he puts his knife to my Neck. "Joyous little...Princess... either listen or you get hurt first!" He yells. "MOM! MOM! Dad...please...please dad stop" I say and start to cry. He let's go. "oh look...my little girl has a weak spot! we gotta fix that!" He says then laughs like a crazy man.  I go to my room and lock the door.  I Look at the scar I have on my cheek in the mirror. It was from when I was little and my dad saw me crying when I heard gun shots. He pulled by my arm and told me to stop crying but I didn't understand so he cut me to teach me a lesson.
