I felt something thump against my forehead and looked up at Josh. I heard the rest of the class quietly snickering, trying not to let Mrs. Hansen know what was going on.

'What?' I mouthed. He just shrugged and turned around. I picked up the ball and threw back at him, hitting him in the head.

"Mr. Hemmings." Hansen said. I groaned and banged my head on my desk, hearing the class roar with laughter around me.

"I'm sorry! I wont do it again!" I exclaimed.

"Thirty minute detention after school." She said. I brought my head back up and looked at her before sighing and glaring over at Josh.

'You're dead.' I mouthed, hearing Quinn and some other people chuckle from beside me. Josh furrowed his eyebrows and tore another piece of paper out of his notebook, crumpling it up and throwing it at Hansen, making everyone laugh again.

"Who threw that?" She asked.

"That would be me." Josh said. "I was trying to hit the flower pot."

"Detention with Mr. Hemmings with me after school." She seethed. Josh leaned back in his chair, stretching and looking back at me before puckering his lips at me. I smiled and rolled my eyes at him before going back to my drawing.

"You're home late." Michael said as I walked through the door, Josh and Quinn following behind me.

"I got detention and then Josh got detention because otherwise I would have had to suffer alone." I said. Luke walked in, getting in the fridge.

"Why did you have detention again?" He asked.

"Throwing paper balls at each other." I said. He looked at me weird. "Josh threw first, Mrs. Hansen only saw mine."

"You guys are idiots." He muttered while rolling his eyes.

"I only got detention because I threw one at her for giving Ryan detention." Josh said. He then nudged Quinn and she looked up at him. "You're being awfully quiet."

"I met a girl." She said. I smiled at her and she smiled back.

"Would uh- Would your dad like her? Because..." Michael trailed. Me and Josh laughed and looked at her.

"She's really pretty, she's smart, she likes the same music as me, she likes to read like I do, she hates sports like I do. She's perfect really." She said. Luke smiled and took a swig of his beer.

"She has that look in her eye." He said, nudging Michael. He only nodded in return, smiling at Quinn. I grabbed Luke's beer and brought it to my mouth, taking a drink of it. He held his hand out I handed it to him. He took a drink and handed it back to me.

"Ok I can't deal with how much you and Luke are alike." Josh said. Me and Luke looked at him and shrugged our shoulders.

"It's creepy right?" Michael asked. "I notice all the little things. Ryan has picked up a lot from Luke. They do this thing, when they're mad, they do this thing where they will go out on the roof with a beer and just sit up there until their calm. Same position to sit in and everything."

"I have known you guys for how long? Two years? And I have never actually watched them closely enough to see that they are the same person." Josh said.

"I know you've picked up on my habits because I can't lie to you. You know." I said, pointing at him.

"I can hear it in your voice when you're lying." Josh said with a laugh. "You know what else?"

"What?" I asked him, raising an eyebrow.

"You do this thing with your lips, like when you don't like someone, you don't even have to tell me, I just know."

"What thing?" I asked, throwing my hands up.

"You like-" He tried to do it with his hands but couldn't. "I can't fucking do it, but I knew you didn't like Jesse before you even told me."

"I fucking hate Jesse." I said.

"There! There it is!" Josh said, pointing at me.

"I caught that." Michael said with a laugh.

"I did too." Luke said, laughing as well.

"Now I want to know what I do!" I whined.

"Hey Ryan, this is really random but what do you think of Sarah Green?" Quinn asked me.

"That bitch is such a fucking cunt I cannot stand her-" I cut myself off. "Wait... Did you just-"

"Yup." She turned her phone towards me and pressed play. "That right there is what you do."

"Well shit." I said, making Josh laugh.
