There's electricity flowing through my veins.
It's the very feeling I had,
The first time I held your hand.
It strikes me in ways I can't explain.
When I see your face,
Though you seem so far away.
There's a crackle in my bones,
A sense of wonder I struggle to compose.
I seek to know you beyond skin:
A plea to gain what's not owed.
There's fire in my blood.
It makes me feel like a freak!
That day, I fell in love with you,
When I first kissed your cheek.
My frame contains intensities,
Sensations you will never know.
We are young and foolish and know not
The things we feel.
These novel sensations:
It is youth, and it is sweet.****
