Authors note!!!' So in the pic of the wolf which is Ray wolf form. An just like in her human form she still has the scars on the left side of her wolf face but because her fur is so thick it's hard to see unless your up close. Okay that's all!!

Five year later

Starting life here wasn't easy as I thought it would have been. And I had the scars on my face to prove it. But after five years I had a nice cabin, a trap-shack to keep dry food and tools in, along with a out house.

I even found a friend out here. A gold Eagle that a mother pushed off the nest about two years ago now named Castiel or Cas for short. He was now full grown but never seemed to leave me for a mate even though he could make it in the wild without me.

I like having someone to talk too. And as for my anger problems seem to disappear the more I turned and ran around for a bit. I was more calm and at peace with everything.

I had no problem going in to town and working jobs for a bit of extra money if need. Even though Mackenzie tried to send me some every once and awhile. I end up waiting six mouths before calling her from town that lead to me almost losing my hearing.

Now we send letters or she sends boxes of soap, shampoo, conditioner, nail filers, nail polish and my favorite of pictures and letter she had my sister write and take. My parents gave up looking for me after three mouths and made Mackenzie my sister babysitter because they started working more and she cracked one day under my sister puppy dog eyes and told her I was alive and will but not where.

So far my now ten year old sister, Taylor
has keep it a secret along with my best friend that they were in contact with me, but Taylor still doesn't know about why I left. Mackenzie says she doesn't show any signs of turning like I did when I was her age.

Which was good. I sighed sitting in a rocking chair I had made out of boredom one winter with a cup of hot chocolate on a nice fall morning. I could feel winter coming in my bones and started making a list of thing I need to do.

1. Cut more wood. A lot more.
2. Got hunting for meat.
3. Get ready for rain storms before the snow.
4. Be ready to be cold and bored.

Maybe I should try knitting another blanket these winter? I thought thinking of things to do in the winter and keep myself occupied during the cold season. I learned books don't last long for me which ended up with me making things like the rocking chair and the dinner table with matching set of chairs.

I was brought out of my thought when Castiel landing on the railing of my porch holding something in his claws.

"Drop it Cas." I said standing up and walking over.

He dropped it in my out stretched hand. To my surprise it was a small doll.

"What the?" I asked bring it closer and breathed in through my nose scenting it.

Two definite smells where on the toy doll. Both females, young ones at that. Knowing Cas didn't go out that far to make it in the town, he had to got it from around here. I decide to open all of my senses up to see if I could pick up anything.

I didn't like have amazing hearing in the city because of how much noise so I had learn to turn it down and living here I didn't like how quite it could get at night only to be woken up by a twig snapping a few miles out. I sighed closing my eyes and letting my hearing go.

I didn't have to wait long to hear the sound. People yelling. Yelling for what sound like kids. Then I smelt it.

A female bear. The people seemed about five or six miles away but in wolf form I could be there in minutes. I didn't think about this being because my first year here I was attacked by a bear which left three long scars across the left side of my face.

I stripped and changed in a matter of secants, taking off full speed. I could hear Cas's wings beating through the air following me as I leaped over and around trees. The ground was muddy and uneven but caused me no problems. Then a scream and little feet running towards me.

My sharpened eye sight saw the small brown hair girl running at me but looking behind her at a big black bar chasing after her. She turned forward to see me, a big black wolf just push off the ground, jumping over her on the the back of the bear. Grabbing its neck I used my momentum to throw it side ways with the shake of my head.

The bear rolled with me and using my hind legs when it got on top of me I let its neck go and kicked with my hind legs siding it flying. I was up and standing in front of the girl waiting for the bear to make the next's move.

But it just looked at me before turning the other way a leaving us be. I turned to see the girl sitting on the ground staring wide eye at me. I moved slow as I walked towards holding my head low.
She whimpered try to get up and I dropped to the ground laying my head on my paws and whined back quietly.

She tilted one head to the side and I mimic her movement. Hoping she wouldn't run and get lost in the woods or run in to another bear. Her shoulders relaxed a bit giving me the okay to army crawl in dog form until I was at her feet.

She watched me the whole time and seem to become more comfortable. She even started reaching her hand out when....

"Rain! Where are you." A man voice called out.

I stood put my forehead in her hand before stepping away from her and turning back in the woods. I could hear the voices of her family finding her and asking a million questions if she was okay. I turned back even though I was out of sight in her eyes I could still see her light blue eyes searching the woods for me.

I didn't know what came over me but I lifted my head and howling. Before taking if back to my cabin.
