The Wolves ripped through the forest into camp. "Hide the cubs!!!! hide the cubs!!" Dagzer roared shoving through the wolves and guarding the den where the cubs were placed. "Pass and you will die!" Dagzer growled at the pack of wolves. The lead wolf laughed, his beady, black eyes twinkling. The wolf advanced towards Dagzer, his teeth drooling and his mouth foaming with spittle. Acre saw his father in trouble and pounced. "Rooooaaaarrrrr!!!!"
Kypress sped through the twigs and leaves, and rocks, a cold breeze carried through the air. 'No.' Kypress thought.
'Don't kill anyone, don't kill anyone.' She said in her mind. She couldn't stand the thought of Renn or Vice lying on the ground, dead. When she reached camp, Acre was trying to rip the lead wolf's throat out, Dagzen was Guarding the den and roaring and snapping his fangs when a wolf got too close. Blood laid splattered over the rocks, Ledge was tearing at a wolf's ear and Renn attempted limping to a den. It was chaos. Wolves and Tigers were killing each other. A wolf cornered Renn, GrassLily tore a wolf's ear off its head, and Lunea jumped onto the wolf and attempted to protect her daughter. The wolf tore at Lunea's pelt and ripped her shoulder. Lunea went limp. wolf barks, yips and yowls mixed with Sabertooth calls and growls. Kypress roared the loudest roar she had ever roared. She bit down on the wolf's neck and twisted. The wolf crumpled to the ground. Kypress picked up Renn with her head and slid Renn onto her back. Kypress brought Renn to Killira's den, where Killira was panting and shaking violently. Kypress dropped Renn to the ground and ran out of the den. She jumped onto the nearby wolf and swiped her claws against its clumped, furry stomach. The wolf howled in pain and dropped. Ledge stormed out of the forest, blood dripping down his mouth and rolling off his fangs, he roared with Kypress and scared off the rest of the wolves. The wolves backed away. "We will come back, SwiftTribe." The leader growled as he limped back to his camp with the rest of his wolves. The camp was littered with bodies. Wolf bodies were everywhere. 'We took a lot of members. I hope Renn is okay, I hope Acre survived and Kife.' She thought. Kypress slowly started pushing the wolf bodies over the cliff, into the river. The dire wolf bodies would be carried away, down the river. When Kypress was done, it was once again nighttime. The half moon shone and the moonlight filtered through the trees and touched the rocks. It was colder. The stiff cold breeze signaled fall. Kypress found GrassLily in the same position that she was left in. "GrassLily! Are you okay? Here, let me help bring you to Killira." Kypress told her softly, as she tried lifting her up with her head. "Are.." GrassLily started talking slowly. "Yes?" Kypress said desperately. Her, eyes focused on GrassLily. "Are.. Are.. Is.. Vice okay?" GrassLily asked with a strained voice. "Yes,yes, Vice is fine. Now, let's get you to Killira." Kypress said as she struggled to lift GrassLily up. GrassLily went limp again. Kypress growled as she slowly walked to the den. She was, after all, carrying a Sabertooth at least 50 pounds bigger than her. Kypress carried GrassLily to the den and gave her to Killira. The den was crowded with tigers. Renn, Kife, Ledge, Acre, even the leader was there, and also many more tigers. "Get the pain herbs! Get the infection herbs!" Killera shouted at Vice, who was struggling to keep up with the orders. Commotion was rising in the camp. "We can't find Tara!" A female cried. "We have all the Cubs except Tara!!! Where did she go? Did the wolves kill her?" Abother said. "If someone killed her, I will tear their throat out!" A male named Carp growled. "I'm so sorry, I never saw her." Kypress told Carp with her head down. "It's fine. We will send out a search party, you really did too those wolves out! Well, at least you didn't get hurt." Carp told her as he smiled and walked off, into the healing den. Kypress smiled and walked through the crisp wind in the dark to her den. She dreamed of finding Tara.
