The Roar thundered over the high grass. It made the birds in the near by Acacia tree scatter in terror. Kypress pulled back her long, sharp fangs and grinned. She loved her roar. Her kind were known as the biggest, deadliest animal in the entire world, besides the rabid dire wolves. Kypress was a year and a half old. Her mother took care of her and her brothers, Klaw and Karden. Karden was the weakest and fell off a cliff when he was playing. Kypress, her mother, and brother were split when all of the Sabertooth cats in the land, decided to form Tribes. Her mother had decided to abandon her and Klaw. Kypress's brother ran off and Kypress managed to survive a year and a half without being killed or dying of starvation. She regularly had to watch out for Sabertooth Tribes, if they caught her, they would kill her. Kypress stretched her aching legs on a heated rock. A soft wind blew, signaling evening. A herd of deer galloped across, their giant horns weighing them down. Kypress looked behind, and saw the mountains, with their dense forests and clearings. Jagged rock cliffs were to the east. The Lake was to the north. The Forests were the perfect place.
