Stay At Mine

Uzumaki Naruto stayed in the hospital for another two weeks. The nurses wanted him to stay longer, but since Naruto didn't want to stay there, Sasuke somehow got them out of it.

They gave Sasuke special permission to be by Naruto's side all the time, unless it was urgent business of course, but because of that, Naruto didn't have any more panic attacks.

The first night, Sasuke had to leave and return home, but during the night, he was called back to the hospital to calm the blonde down, since the sedatives didn't work on him for a strange reason.

The one thing that bugged Sasuke were the nurses' gossip.

"I can't believe we have to take care of that strange boy."

"Which one?"

"Who else has blonde hair? I swear, just the mention of him makes me sick."

"Yeah, the blonde hair is so disgusting."

"And then there's his uncle, who looks really suspicious."

"Really? I think he's a bit attractive."

"What? You're crazy. He's anything but attractive."

"Unlike that Uzumaki kid. I feel bad for Sugiyama-san who has to put up with him everyday."

"Right?"

"He's so dumb, I'm surprised he hasn't run out of patience yet."

"You do have to admire Sugiyama-san for that."

"True."

Sasuke despised these women and avoided them at all costs. He tried to keep Naruto happy, and he also tried to keep the nurses away from him too. He didn't want Naruto to get depressed from the things they were saying behind his back.

And the stupid police, the Anbu, didn't even do anything to find the one injured Naruto like this.

Sasuke clenched his hands into fists. If it was even possible, his hatred for the Konoha village was even stronger now.

"Sasuke?" Naruto whispered, squeezing his hand. "What's wrong?"

Sasuke took a deep breath and smiled reassuringly. "It's nothing you need to worry about."

Naruto frowned but then smiled. "Okay. I'll trust you."

"By the bye, where is your home? I'll need to take you back there," Sasuke said, trying to change the subject.

His blue eyes grew wide with fear. "Please no!" He exclaimed. "I'll get found and they'll try to kill me again!"

They'll?

So...

More than one person tried to kill Naruto?

Sasuke suppressed a laugh.

He decided.

He was going to kill these Konohans.

"Hey, Naruto," he began. "Do you want to come live with me?"

The blonde stared at him in shock. "Eh?"

Even Sasuke was surprised at his own words. "Um...that is, if you don't want to go back!" He quickly said.

Naruto blinked a couple more times before a smile spread over his face.

"Thank you!" He exclaimed. "I'd love to!"

Sasuke breathed a sigh of relief before saying:

"If you tell me who did this to you when we get there, then yes, of course you can come."
