This chapter is my longest one so far, but I thought it was interesting, or at least I tried to make it that a way. I think you guys will like this one the most!

Three days passed since Twiggy called David. Every morning she woke up she had butterflies just thinking about Friday night, and now it has finally arrived. The sun was finally setting, and she was almost ready to go.

She wore burgundy wide leg pants with a long sleeve v neck ivory blouse tucked in, and a pair of dark brown platform sandals. She did her hair in a middle part with big, loose waves, a subtle brown smokey eye, and sheer burgundy lip gloss to match her pants. She put on her favorite fragrance, grabbed her clutch, and left.

David was already waiting for her at the restaurant when she arrived. The waiter led her to his table, where he greeted her with a warm hug and pulled her chair out for her.

"You look amazing! How on earth have you been?"

"I've been just fine, enjoying some time off, really. What about you?"

"Just the same. Discussing the release of Pin Ups with my record label. Writing and recording for my next album."

"Already? You haven't even released Pin Ups yet!"

"I know, I can't help it. But Pin Ups is only a cover album, so it was easy. I would like to continue releasing an album every year, and get as much of my work done as soon as possible so I can have time off to relax, or let the muse find me again for more albums. Because once I release an album, my manager books live performances, and sometimes I'll have to go on tour, which is always a drag. But I love what I do."

"Oh I can tell. You're so dedicated, it must be fun to reach out to as many people as you can through music."

The waiter came back to take their order and left.

"I wish my work could've been that a way. I modeled whenever I was requested, and I just jumped right into it. There would also be times where my manager would call in or get calls from big magazines and brand names. It was much more hectic when I first started, I was so young. I didn't understand how crazy the fashion world was, how demanding and original everyone and everything had to be. Not at all how I imagined as a simple school girl; sweeping salon floors, sewing my own clothes. Suddenly, everyone wanted my face everywhere." Said Twiggy.

"Well it's a very beautiful face, I'll admit. I think you're very photogenic, that's probably why I picked you. You were and still are a natural."

She blushed and thanked him. "To tell you the truth I never thought about being a model, I always wanted to be a singer, somewhat like you. I started out with a few singles, it didn't last very long, and I didn't write my songs. But I want to. I'm just not as inspired as I would like to be."

"Hmm." David said. "Now I understand why you take such a interest in music."

She chuckled. "Yeah, I guess so. Oh, now you must tell me what the inspiration behind your new album is. I'm already dying."

"Alright, as long as you keep it a secret. I had read the novel '1984' by George Orwell. It's a great read."

"I remember that book! My literature class had to read it once. It was frightening, I must say."

"Indeed! Well, I had this idea to turn it into a theatrical production, and I had already written songs for it, but there was no way for me to get the rights to use his book, so I had to forget the idea. But I had some other songs I recorded with my guitarist Mick, so I added them all together. My album is a sort of dystopia of my own. It's about punks in an apocalyptic future. It takes place in what I call Hunger City, which used to be Hollywood. People get around on roller skates because of the oil crisis I made up. No automobiles. It's quite funny, actually."
