Let's get this straight.
I'm not Nancy Drew. Never have been. We're basically opposites, she's preppy, I'm goth (ish, I'm too lazy for all the makeup), she has plenty of friends, (or is that Scooby Doo I'm thinking of? Well whatever, it doesn't really matter.) What matters is that, I don't have any. She's sweet and kind, and I'm, well, you could say I'm not the sweetest peach in the basket.
We do have one thing in common though. We both solve mysteries.
I've been somewhat of a detective my whole life, from the first day of kindergarten when I helped the teacher find out who took the last blue Crayola by studying everyone's drawings. I was quite cute actually. From then on, I decided that I wanted to be a detective, even though everyone told me "Tori, you can't be a detective!" Well, I proved them wrong! Kind of. I'm only a part time detective, if you could call it that. Every once in a while, some sort of mystery arises here in Rosedale, and people just kinda call me and ask me to solve it. I guess my rates are cheaper than a real detective. I like to think that I do just as good a job. In the meantime, I have a part time job at the grocery store. Yup, I stack cans and paper towel rolls for a living. Fun times.
But when I am hired for a mystery, it's just a rush of excitement and adrenaline that completely makes up for my other crappy job.

Teen FictionYes, I'm a teenage girl, and yes, I solve mysteries, but trust me, me and Nancy are total opposites. I'm Tori, girl detective and I can take any mystery you throw my way. Almost.
