So you think your bad? But surely, they are people out there more evil than you. Disgustingly gorgeous devils that are not meant to be messed with. Unless you unfortunately dance on their hell of a teritory.

Summer Leondale is always the badass kick-out girl. With her reputation, normal lang na magpalipat-lipat siya ng school. She walks in and bloody walks out. Until she entered Montello high... Hindi siya nagiexpect na magiging madali ang lahat and she was also not expecting that things will be shaken up by irrestibly hot and badass gangsters. Issues of Friendships, Love, Hatred, Violence and Mystery are her worst confrontations.

She walks in... will she be able to walk out?

My thoughts

What do you expect in Montello High? Madaming twist. At "This is not your ordinary gangster," sabi nga ni Mirden (one of the character in the book). Hindi ito yung mga gangster na nangbubully dahil trip lang nila o kaya nagf-feeling gangster. It's way more interesting than that. Personally, this is one of my favorite book. Ito yung storyang makakaasa kayong maganda talaga. Expect more because the book will beat that.

Gusto ko yung way nang pagnanarrate ni Summer Leondale (main character). Napakaabsolute ng personality niya. Very well made. The way she describe and make emotions into words, it's one of the things I find in a good book.

Lahat ng character consistent. Maiinlove ka sa bawat character na lalabas kasi may sari-sarili silang identity. May sari-sariling background. May sari-sariling role sa Montello High. Lahat ng maliliit na bagay ay konektado at may kahulugan. Hindi ito yung mema- sabi lang.

Konektado ang reader at yung book. Maiinis ka kapag naiinis si Summer, nahihirapan ka kapag nahihirapan siya. Headsup, this is very addicting. Yung hindi ka mapapakali hanggang malaman mo yung nangyayari. "Isang chapter na lang. Isang chapter na lang." But then you'll find yourself reading one more chapter.
